Precious Garden Samal holds true to its name. It's a place where the garden is beautifully maintained (I love the landscape!) plus the location of the resort - not too near nor too far from Babak and only 15 minutes travel by boat - makes it a perfect getaway.Just talking with the family in the porch and experiencing the weather...

Booked an overnight stay last July 8 2016. It was an easy process, they responded timely on all my inquiries. We went there on a weekday so we had the place all by ourselves. It was a huge property, well kept and clean. The place is indeed perfect for some quiet time either under the canopy of trees or on...

I am enchanted by the classy landscape of this resort and the hotel is a must for a yolo retreat away from hustle and bustle of work...a relief for a stress-free life. When you have a dying to read book at hand, simply browse the pages away with a beach in a view or with their individual cottages under the tree...

Great place to chill and enjoy peaceful things to do. Don't expect your fancy city utilities here - just relax and enjoy doing nothing! A nice get away and change of pace from the hectic city life. Food is some of the best on the island. Nice little beach spot to chill on all day, very close to the bat...

No Wifi in the room, no cable channels which means nothing to see on the television. No pool and you can't swim in the beach because it's disgusting. The service is very slow and the price of the room is quite high. They clean the room every other day and there are times that there is no hot water. There...

We ate dinner here and loved it so much we returned the next day for breakfast. I was looking for some fresh vegetables and salad as the Hotel we were staying at did not have any. We shared a starter of chilli & garlic prawns with fresh, homemade (on the premises) bread which is one of my favourites and it...

Facilities Ok, but the staff looks so bored & not accommodating! I thought it's a Beach Front Facility but don't expect something like Boracay or El-Nido. You still need to hire a Banca to get to the nice islands, just like in Puerto Princesa! Breakfast is nothing fancy, just plated Continental or Filipino menu. I do not like also the...

Visited the place with my family recently. Its worth visiting for its solemn atmosphere, comfortable cottages, great tasting pizza, and courteous employees. You can even stay here overnight without getting a hotel room. Beach front cottages cost Php800 for overnight stay. I recommend aqua shoes for swimming. Overall, the place is better than other resorts in samal.

This Resort is one of the best I visited. It's very clean, has a nice beach and very good accommodations. The staff is very friendly, they would go shopping for you and cook your dishes. The most I liked there was the privacy and the very relaxing atmosphere! I would go there anytime again!

I have been several times to this garden resort and have seen development in many ways! It has improved a lot compared to my previous visit 2 years ago! My batchmates spend our day for the reunion. Swimming? best during high tide...why? you can't feel much of the muddy sand...yes it is still muddy and this has to be improved...naturally...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Precious Garden Restaurant and coffee house offers a warm welcome to all visitors. Sit out under the stars and enjoy the open air ambiance and leafy shade of mature tropical tress when enjoying our food. We are locally famous for our wood-fired oven pizzas and homemade pasta as well as other European and Filipino favorite dishes. We serve bio dynamic rice or fresh baked bread as options with all our dishes. We are confident that our brewed coffee and homemade cookies are the best on the island of samal. Our little fine hotel is located 10 minutes from the ferry landing in Babak / Samal Island. The tropical garden restaurant is a nice start in the morning and the white beach good for sundower. We offer many trips, also free shuttle servive to an islet named Sanipaan (Vanishing Island). Diving trips, snorkeling tours, inland tours (Bat Bave, Hagimit Falls, etc.). ... more   less

“if you want a private balcony ask for a room in the second floor if you are going to the vanishing island tour go during the afternoon(low tide) so you will see the island. If you are up for an adventure try to go downtown ask to call a tricycle for you (10.00 per head) to see their Rural life style and buy some street food fried chicken”
