Breathtaking view of the savannah right from the back terrace. Animals grazing so close you could almost touch them. The rooms were just ok and most of us in our group had screens on the back door that had been pulled up at the bottoms by the monkeys. This made you feel very uncomfortable as they were always looking to...

I was a single traveller who stayed in serena for 2 nights. The food can never go wrong in this lodge. Wi fi access was everywhere including the rooms. This is a good place to stay for gaming since its inside the national park. Happy with the service and stay.

We stayed at Amboseli Serena for two nights. The rooms were on the small side but very comfortable, nicely decorated, extremely clean. We enjoyed watching the monkeys outside our patio door. The staff was very courteous and helpful, always with a smile. No complaints there at all. This was our first stop in Kenya, and we thought that this was...

hello fellow travelers! we did a 11 night safari and moved around a bit, so all our reviews will begin with this caveat of not spending more than 2 nights at any of the properties, which might or might not have made a difference. most of the places we visited had a variety of options; we opted for the upper-middle...

Serena Hotels is very proffesional Managed and the rooms are very clean, nice decorated with paintings and masai bids. Swimming pool to realax and restaurant with plenty of food. The highlight of Amboseli is the great view to the Kilimanjaro (Tanzania) and the amazing Elephants.

The hotel is nice- nothing fancy, but the location is spectacular! Hotel rooms are pretty noisy, you can hear everyone talking nearby and people coming and going. Watch for "cheeky" monkeys on patio! Great view of elephants, zebras, antelopes and monkeys from porch of hotel. Food was good- wide variety of options

Ambroseli Serena was our first stop on a recent safari because we had stayed there 30 years before. It is a large, mid-range resort, with about 60 rooms. We were met with wet towels and a smile. We were very quickly checked in and delivered to our room. The rooms are fairly small (500-600 sq ft range, seems to me)...

We arrived here on the last leg of our Kenya trip arranged by Wild Eye as a family (2 adults, 1 child age 11). We came here for 2 nights after staying 2 nights at Serena Kilaguni in West Tsavo and 3 nights previous to that at Mara Serena. Arrival time at the lodge was around 6:30pm after an initial...

A lovely lodge, with great staff, more than decent food, and in line with what you would expect from this well run consistently high quality chain of hotels. We were very fortunate with the quality of game viewing whipcord only added to the feel good factor.

The Serena chain runs a very good line of hotels and this one is no different. The hotel is close to most of the springs that attract all of the animals in the park and the drive to see them is not long as opposed to those from outside the Park. Decent rooms, comfortable beds, ample baths, nicely decorated. The...

“My room was the farthest from the main building so If you don't want to walk as far you could ask to be closer to the lobby.”
