We wanted to do some walking in northern Spain, and found out about this hotel on the Internet. Stephan met us at Figures Station and took us back to his charming hotel which he runs with his wife Christina. We had three full days there and manage to walk straight out from the hotel on a different route every day....

If you crave a few peaceful days in beautiful surroundings, with amazing hosts and top-notch food then spend a few days at this lovely little place! We spent three nights here and I couldn't have hoped for a better stay. Their property is beautiful and with the pool you could really just hang out here and relax. But if you...

I slept one night in my trip crossing the Pyrenees by mountain bike. This hotel is really excellent, it is at the beginning of the village inside a really old building. Very well managed and really comfortable. The rooms are very big and you can walk to the center of the village to see how beautiful it is, small and...

OK, it's not the seaside, but we bless the day we found this place. This would truly suit anybody wishing a few days comfort, (perhaps writing?) surrounded by a thriving little mediaeval village in the Pyrennean foothills. We have been back several times, and this year we had the "honeymoon suite". Idyllic. and the swimming pool should now be nearly...

I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Torre Laurentii a few years ago. In addition to being a beautiful medieval village, the Hotel's owners are extraordinary hospitable in making their guests feel welcome from the moment one arrives till one departs. We loved our stay and wanted to share the experience on Trip Advisor but time flew by. That...

Lovely hotel, beautiful surroundings and welcome from Stephan, with wonderful baking from Cristina - thank you both, especially Cristina for your Fig Tart!!! Lovely restored manor house - very comfortable room (2) overlooking the terrace and garden. The village is serene with towers to climb and beautiful views, especially from the tower on the hill overlooking the village (15 min...

This is a really well run hotel in a really beautiful village. The hospitality shown by Stephan & Cristina is outstanding. They have done a superb job of restoring this magnificent historic property with it's own tower. The village has several other good restaurants, but Cristina's cooking was so good and so adaptable for one fussy eater that we never...

While off the beaten track, the hotel made the detour worth it! The room was spacious, the food was fabulous and the owners of the hotel were so helpful and gracious. This hotel was our favorite in all of Catalyna! Our experience at Torre Laurentii Hotel was the highlight of our the trip up to Figueres!

We stayed here for 5 nights. The village is medieval and exquisite - and Torre Laurentii very special. Rooms are simply and beautifully decorated with cool terracotta floors and all look onto a lovely tranquil garden. Excellent bathroom with some gorgeous toiletries. Stephan couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful and Cristina provided some absolutely outstanding dinners. Paricularly her paella....

A beautiful property located in a medieval village dating back to 972 with leisurely walks and hiking close by to a watch tower overlooking the valley. The service and meals at Torre Laurentii by hosts/owners Cristina and Stephan were the highlights of a wonderful trip to the Catalonia province of Spain.
