The rooms of Casa Burano are located along the canals and small streets of the island in five traditional colored houses of the island that were just renovated. Casa Burano is inspired by the hotel diffuso concept, the rooms are located all around the island. When you arrive on Burano, we will be there to welcome you and take you to your room. Our reception staff is always at your disposal to help you make the most of your stay. We carefully chose even the most minute details of the rooms with the utmost attention, thanks to our collaboration with local artisans and important Italian design firms. In the rooms you will find: Fontana Arte fans, Arclinea desks, Moroso chairs, Glass showers, Fregonard toiletries, private bathroom with mosaic tiles by Trend, natural wood floors by Itlas, Bolzan Letti canopy beds in leather with ergonomic mattresses to provide the most comfortable experience possible. Every room has free wi-fi, heating, air conditioning, HD satellite TV, bed linens, towels, robes, hairdryer, slippers, bathroom toiletries, minibar, and safe. The ground floor of each house has a living area in which to enjoy a coffee or tea reading a book and taking in the beautiful colors of Burano outside your window. Casa Burano is a hotel experience by Venissa, Wine Resort on Mazzorbo island.

This was a perfect location for a gathering of many friends in Burano. Various houses are located across the island and each house contains about three rooms per property. Ours was conveniently located close to our drop off point which meant my excess luggage did not have far to travel. The private boat from the airport costs about 180 Euro and the boat drivers love cash. Check in is kind of strange, as there is no reception as such, so you can either arrange to meet at your particular house or at Venissa which is connected to the hotel, and houses a great restaurant and a bit of a sculpture park.
Our room was very modern and had a Turkish shower which I had no idea how to operate. There are tea facilities downstairs and they drop off a morning breakfast, which being gluten free, was disappointing, but having said that, the pastries were not that appealing anyway. Go across the square and buy your breakfast would be my recommendation. You're in the heart of everything, but having said that, everything is walking distance on this colourful island.

Really Enjoyed the stay. Staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. Check-in was needed to be done in Mazzarbo, which is a sister island connected to Burano (Could be visited by walk via a small wooden bridge). It was so Magical I loved both colorful Burano & Mazzorbo. Breakfast was also located at Mazzorbo. Accomodation was verty central and had all required amenities nearby. Just a small tip, if you are looking to get out for dinner, do so at your earliest as restautants close early in Burano since alot of people visit Burano for a day and do not sleep overnight. Do yourself a favour and wander around at early mornings in Burano, you will definaltely thank me later.

My husband I have just spent an amazing 4 nights at Casa Burano, in the most delightful and very well appointed room with fabulous, huge bed with gorgeous bed linen, overlooking a canal! The excellent staff at Venissa Wine Resort - who run Casa Burano - over the bridge in neighbouring beautiful Mazzorbo, could not have done any more to help us. They were so friendly and lovely! We had a delicious dinner in the Osteria Contemporanea, did a superb tour of the vineyard and wine tasting with Luca, their wine ambassador and also a fantastic 2 hour boat trip of the Venetian lagoon with Alessandro Tagliapietra, a local photographer. We absolutely loved staying in Burano and can't wait to return!

Overall it is a complete and very positive experience both for the overnight stay and for dinner and breakfast. I appreciated the cleanliness, tranquility and furnishings of the room at Casa Burano, the only thing missing were the disposable slippers in the room (they are normally available in 4 star hotels). The dinner was a unique and surprising experience: the truly innovative menu with a lot of research and goodness, the food-wine-cocktails pairing, the professionalism and preparation of the staff, the location were particularly appreciated. A pleasant surprise was breakfast at the Venissa tavern, excellent products, almost all of which were produced by them. I highly recommend trying the VENISSA!!

As the title suggests, I spent an "immersive experience on the island of Burano". Choosing the Albergo Diffuso to live like a true "buranello" for a night is definitely worth trying and highly recommended, especially at this time of year! I would add that the breakfast served at the contemporary tavern is something truly delicious. I attach several photos where you can admire the suggestive view from the room, how it is structured and a detail on the shower inside.

Casa Burano was a highlight of our trip to Italy. The level of service and standard of accommodations exceeded our expectations. Stayed in the Casa del Lace all well taken care of in every detail. good quiet location. the breakfast at the Venissa facility in Mazzorbo was excellent, as was the dinner at the tavern or at the starred restaurant which can be reached in a short time by taking a walk across a small bridge that connects Burano to Mazzorbo.

I had purchased a gift voucher for one night at the property. Due to unexpected commitments, I was forced to cancel the booked night with little notice. The reservations manager was very understanding and flexible and promptly provided me with alternative dates.
When the date finally arrived, we were able to take advantage of a beautiful suite, in the fascinating setting of the island of Burano. Despite the gloomy weather, the charm was absolutely not diminished.
I recommend it to anyone who wants to live an experience away from the crowds and frenzy, and enjoy the wonder of the Venetian lagoon!

This hotel is hours outside Venice with no way to easily get there. There website with their photo of Venice don't indicate or imply this. In fact, ferries cost 440eu round trip to directly take you to or from the island of BURANO. When I found this out I tried to cancel, but they refused to give me a direct number nor even an exact address where I'd be lodging as Casa Burano has different locations. They then charged me the full price for all the days I was supposed to be there and threatened to charge me a few for not showing up to an address I never had. I would never recommend this place.
