Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This a friendly country pub that is well worth a night if you're heading up the Newell Hwy. We stayed in a double room in the hotel and and had a quiet peaceful night even though there was a main road and a railway beside the pub. The food and service was better than expected

Stayed at the short stay caravan camp in town. Free or $2 per 12 hours of power. Walked to pub for a great meal. The beer was cheap and apparently at happy hour is even cheaper they had great staff and some quirky decorations..

Fantastic old pub in a quiet country town. Good old fashioned friendly service and great value meals - big servings & good prices. Plenty of choices on the menu so something for everyone. It’s easily the cleanest bar we’ve ever been into and not surprising given Mandy at the bar didn’t stop cleaning the whole time we were there. We were camping around the corner at the free camp spot ($2 if you want 12hrs of power..what a bargain) and it was a really hot day so we decided to walk over to the pub for a cold beer. We ended up staying for a couple and then for a meal. We left feeling like old friends. Keep up the great work guys! Thanks again.

Lovely old country pub, in central western NSW. We stayed 3 nights in hotel room, clean and comfortable. New management is upgrading the central bathrooms. We enjoyed popping next door to the dining room, beautiful meals from extensive menu. Hosts were very friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Off the main highway O/N stay in the recreational park @ Ardlethan (free camp) in our caravan. Toilet block with $2 charge for electricity for 12 hrs but arrive early as appears to be popular, situated in the main street next to the railway line. Great meals & friendly atmosphere at the London Hotel, definately worth a visit to the little town.

The little motel even though it is old and dated was very clean and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was awesome. The pub attached was friendly and u were made very welcome. The bistro meals were lovely and reasonably priced

Old country hotels aren't everybody's cup of tea. We stayed in the motel section which was comfortable, immaculately clean but a bit poky. We had had a delicious dinner in the bistro which was excellent value.

We arrived here for drinks and dinner to be greeted by lovely staff at the bar. The drinks and service here was lovely, warm and friendly. Unfortunately the experience went downhill with ordering food. We had a small child with us and we ordered a kids meal as well as our own. The kitchen opened at 6 pm and we were the second people in line to order our dinner. 45 mins later we can see a lot of other people who ordered after us getting their food. I wouldn’t have minded if they got their meals before the our ‘adult’ meals but I thought the fact that they couldn’t bring out my 3 year old nuggets and chips was a little upsetting. My son was so hungry and we waited almost an hour to get our food. So maybe they could improve by bringing kids meals out sooner. When we got our food the portion sizes was generous, but the quality was average. My husband saw his meal sit in the hot box for 15 minutes before they served it to us, so it was cold.
