About 3 hours drive from Cape Town, driving through some scenic countryside, worth a one night stay if you are looking for a quick fix of seeing game on a short trip to Cape Town. Well run, comfortable, friendly. Although this is a managed game reserve it's still a good experience especially with kids. Cheetah centre is a highlight, if...

We spent 2 days in the reserve. This is a very nice place, 2,5 hours from Cape Town. Luxury chalets are just fantastic, a swimming pool is in front of them with 2 Rhinos just behind. The Safaris were great, with the opportunity to see the big five very close. Our guide was really great! And top of the top,...

Had only short time and wanted to see at least some wild life. We were driving from Cape town, and it took us 2 hours and half. The place is really on high level and in nice surroundings. The safari part, is not really a safari, however you have a feeling that it is due to fact that the space...

Saw all the big 5, with close ups with Cheetahs. Inverdoorn is a luxury oasis in a dusty basin far from anywhere. Food was absolutely fabulous (best beef steak I've ever had). Staff were friendly and helpful. We did evening safari, overnight stay in a chalet and morning safari. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly too. No safari is cheap,...

Pick up time from cape town was informed by SMS and was on time. Comfortable drive to park by Richard. Staff go out of the way to make the stay comfortable. Good food. Dinner is a five course meal with attentive staff. The beef steak was perfect. Safari drive (in a 6 wheel land rover which was comfortable) at sunset...

Stayed here as part of the geological field trip. A decent room with good bed linen and towel. The room was also clean. Given the location in the middle of the desert i did not put high expectation to be "free" from dust but i was wrong. The room is so clean and as someone who allergic to dust,i did...

Overall experience at Inverdoorn was fantastic. Good clean and comfy accommodation and good food but the absolute highlight were the safari drives themselves. We were there for two nights so did a number of drives and each of them equally stunning and informative as the last. Our guide (Melissa or Marissa - sorry can't remember) is a true asset to...

We stayed overnight at inverdoorn game reserve with our grandchildren. Overall a nice experience especially for the grand children as they live in Hong Kong and are not used to animals walking About.. Unfortunately our granddaughter left a hand crafted T shirt of hers with her name embroidered on it behind. I phoned the next dY and was promised to...

No, this probably isn't the best way to do a true safari. And, it is a bit rushed if doing it in one day from Cape Town. But, it is an excellent place to get a taste of a wonderful experience. I found the drivers who picked us up and took us back to Cape Town friendly and helpful. One...

Booked this for my wife's 50th birthday. We followed a long dirt track to an oasis . Outstanding from the start I booked one of the luxury chalets and it didn't disappoint. Had our own private swimming pool overlooking the baby rhinos. Food and service was superb. We did an evening and early morning safari which was fantastic. Limited to...
