This is not a lodge but a dirty farm... It is good to see all animals in a limited space of time. But has nothing to do with wildlife. The ambassador suite was nicely decorated but dirty , tv not working, internet not available ,, only at reception area Quality of food is poor , chicken or fish in a...

I was there on September 2012 :) I spent 4 amazing peaceful days at Inverdoorn. I was taken by the nature, the animals, the mountains.... highly recommended. It is distant almost from anything, I think (but I'm not sure) they had WiFi. You can drive freely there to the nearest town if you'd like. and there are plenty of safari...

Myself and my partner stayed in the ambassador suite over night 4th march and we had an absolutely brilliant stay. Please don't listen to the reviews claiming it is a "fake safari with fences everywhere". The reality is inverdoorn is a private reserve which has rescued and rehabilitated a number of animals and is now providing them with a chance...

We did an overnight package on March 13-14,and were impressed. However it should be realised that this place is a very long drive from CT. A day trip would be a bit of a long day indeed. On arrival, although we were very early, we were warmly greeted ,and invited to use the facilities while we waited. Our room in...

A beautiful landscape, the best and most full filling game drives - everything what nature can offer. The French owners invested a lot of money to create this paradise, but are missing out on the most important fact in the tourism industry- hospitality. Check in remembered me on a reception in a train station, lunches, diners and breakfast was a...

Having spent an amazing visit 2 years ago for a special birthday we returned for a 35 th anniversary only to be put in the 3 star staff quarters billed as family room ...first mistake as we expected to be in our previous 5 star accomodation, this was also the first time a star rating was placed on the rooms...

We visited Inverdoorn for 24 hrs to view the "big five" with the kids. It was a very nice stay with good food, great accommodation and fantastic guides during the game drive. The pool area of the compound was ok (little too many people) but everything else was awesome!

Travelling with 3 kids, we booked the "family" accomodation billed as 2 rooms that turned out only to be separated by a curtain. The game drives were great but the guide, while very nice, was not terribly knowledgeable. The food was mediocre (school dinners), the service likewise (no sugar provided for 6 am coffee and no staff on hand) and...

My friends and I had an excellent stay at Inverdoorn in the family unit. We were well taken care of from start to end and we truly enjoyed everything from the food to the game drives and a couple of nice and cool swims in the pool in the afternoon. Thank you, will definitely recommend to friends!

A friend of our traveled with us to Inverdoorn from Cape Town. Be prepared for a bit of craziness while collected all guests traveling to Inverdoorn at 6AM in Cape Town. The van that picked us up wasn't the most comfortable for a long ride, but to and from we saw beautiful scenary. The reserve itself is probably best described...
