Country residence, surrounded by a large park There is a small swimming pool, still enough to take a dip and cool off The room is very large, as is the bathroom, the furniture is a mix of rustic and modern, perhaps there is too much furniture The owner, of Italian origins, is very courteous and attentive Breakfast is included in the price and is simple, but good, the room where it is served is very beautiful The residence obviously has a large and convenient car park

Formidable. Fantastic. This castle is really nice, nestled in the Charentaise countryside near Cognac. Very large and nice room. Excellent meal and breakfast. A small glass of cognac is served at the end of the meal. It's really delicious. And very affordable Award

A truly wonderful place - fully authentic, fantastic service and lovely people. We were lucky enough to be there when the weather was really warm, so dinner was served out in the garden, having been cooked on an outdoor grill. The grounds are beautiful and in the evening take on a new dimension as the night darkens.

Years that we enjoy stopping for a few days at this most friendly couple. The setting is idyllic, the decoration type flea market testifies to their passions both, the park is superb and quiet. Improvements have been made again, giving this castle an increasingly magical setting. Can't wait to get back next year. Brigitte

Huge room, very comfortable bed, good shower. The dinner there was absolutely excellent and great value for money. Breakfast was good. Charming chateau and extremely friendly owners. Highly recommended and we would like to visit again.

Stunning chateau with lovely pool, lovely gardens and even lovelier hospitality from Sebastien. A very pretty part of France, just a few minutes' drive from the gorgeous town of Cognac. Secluded and peaceful location: an ideal and beautiful stop-over as part of a long drive to the south west of France.

The chateau was everything and more than we expected. We had a beautiful room overlooking the pool and gardens. Its only a short drive into the beautiful town of Cognac. The hosts made us very welcome and the food was excellent. We would definitely stay again when visiting the area.

We stayed here for three nights, in mid September. We had noted the Chateau may be difficult to find, indeed we drove past , as the actual name plate can be seen from one direction, however the House number was clearly displayed on the outside wall. Look for an archway entrance with grey painted gates. Not an isolated property. Car parking is right outside the door. So much history with a modern twist . The owners were welcoming and helpful. We would return, its good value . The room was bright, clean and comfortable, the shower very good. Like others have said, the breakfast is well worth the cost, even English tea bags!
