Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Thank you! Friendly and helpful staff. Room was perfect, clean tidy and very comfy with big TV and fast internet. From booking, checkin - out all very easy. Plenty of parking and good location. Will be back and remember to pack the fishing rod next time.

We stayed in the 2 Bedroom Chalet: One of the best accommodation experiences I've had. An abundance of provisions and resources in the chalet, absolute value for money. The addition of oven & washing machine make the chalet a great option for a week long stay which I hope to do in the future. Most places you stay ration out 1 or 2 toilet rolls as if they think you will steal more but for our 3 night stay we were provided with an abundance of everything and only used what we needed. Very generous provisions all around and the accommodation park itself was quiet, even as it filled up for the busy December pre Christmas school holiday weekend. And absolutely paradise. Cannot recommend highly enough. Only cons; no phone service inside the chalets themselves due to the infrastructure needed for cyclone rating, which was made more difficult by the poor WiFi, so we had no internet or phone inside the chalets, but limited WiFi outside. And the fans in the aircons would go thru some weird cycle at night where they would stop blowing air even tho they were 'on'. We obeyed the instructions to keep them at 22⁰ but at night time they would just stop blowing air so I woke at 5:20am one morning in a ball of sweat, not sure how long it had stopped blowing air for, the air con still officially 'on' but not working, and it took some fiddling with the fan controls to get it blowing again, but just the process of it continually stopping blowing air during the night kept interrupting our sleep cycles. Everything else was absolutely perfect. Cannot recommend highly enough.

We were pleasantly surprised by the facilities and staff at this location.
I had booked sight unseen so that my aging MIL could tick the Cossack Art Awards off her bucket list.
The location and surrounding area was clean and neat and it was definitely not a sleepy seaside holiday town that we expected.
Our accommodation was for 3 Adults and a 7 yo and was perfect. Welcomed by cool scented air and soft gentle music it was a pleasure walking into to the chalet. The layout and facilities were great with everything we needed at hand. The swimming pool was inviting and a pleasant way to cool off in the afternoon. The gardens and pathways were well maintained and easy to navigate. A short stroll to the beach gave us whale sightings and a view over the coastal area.
The Tavern had a reasonable menu selection ( which is lucky as it appeared to be the only place that served evening meals in town) Staff were friendly and helpful with a large range of drinks available. The general was good for snacks, coffee and the emergency grocery/fishing supplies. Staff at all the venues were friendly and helpful all the time.
Overall the whole experience was great and worthy of return visits.

We were happy enough at the chalets. We were comfortable for two nights and wouldn’t dismiss staying in future if we ever found ourselves in Pt Samson again but they aren’t exactly ‘flash’.
The grandpa chair is a bit of an odd choice of decoration in the living area and the decor all seems a bit of a mash generally in 2024!
However the accommodation was spacious and secure and I guess we didn’t need or want any more on this occasion. We were only a little put off by a drainy smell in the kitchen area but we were hardly in the room, so it wasn’t the biggest issue. And it would be good if the outdoor furniture would receive a wipe over before new guests arrive. It was filthy.
We loved the adjoining tavern - the cocktail hour and later the dinner. Good fun!
And I must say the Hong Kong orchid trees in the grounds were stunning. 😍

After my gps arrived at an incorrect location I was directed where to go only to be greeted in total darkness and unable to locate my cabin. After calling after hours staff and I explained how dark it was, she replied, ‘well, I’m here aren’t I’.
The kitchenette room is totally underwhelming and to top it off, there’s a sign saying clean up after yourself or we will charge you cleaning fees. Needless to say I won’t be returning.

When we opened the door to our chalet we were so thrilled finding the special extras in housekeeping, plus a complimentary bottle of champagne as we were celebrating our anniversary. Thank you again you made our day even more special. Loved our stay, will be back again.

Two older couple travelling together, we each had a studio room. They were great, very comfortable, clean and quiet. The whole complex is really clean, the pool is great for a quick dip to cool off and it’s about a one minute walk to the tavern, to sit by the window with a cold beer and watch the whales go past. A great place to wash, clean up, recharge and get ready to move on again. Would recommend this place to anyone.

We always stay at the Samson Beach Chalets when we can as a family or while travelling for business. Perfect location and easy check in service. We always book directly with them and always get a better price than what's advertised on other sites. Samson Tavern is just across the road, which serves the best fish and chips in the Pilbara. Rooms are outstanding with everything provided that you could possibly need. Highly recommend!!

Like a little tropical island holiday just a few kilometers from home. Booking was simple and we received an email the day prior to arrival with all the information we needed for our stay. Keys were waiting on arrival and the room was immaculate. The chill music playing in our room was a nice touch and we were so grateful for the ground coffee and milk (dusty mornings over the new year break 😂). We spent loads of time in the pool area which like the rest of the grounds was beautiful and tidy. And lots of time patio hopping around to visit friends and family and chase the shade. Absolutely coming back! Thank you!
