Very impressed from the start, well sign posted easy entrance, very friendly recptionist ( male) , gave us a clear floor plan of the camping, and explained all the details. the plots are spacious and private, easy electricity points. Brand new shower blocks, absolutely clean and spacious, very easy to use, the water was lovely and hot, a choice of 2 different shower heads! very large cubicles, incl a little chair to sit on, plenty of hooks to hang clothing and towels etc.. a bucket with desinfectant was left next to every shower to clean up afterwards, a lovey detail again. The night time was very quiet, very peaceful to sleep, so guarenteed a good night sleep. The restaurants nearby( driving distance) seem all very popular, we also had a good evening dinner at the Taverna. We did not use the camping pools, but will next time we are booking there, we will be back! beautiful seaviews from the camping pitch too, Our stay was too short and the weather not good, so we will have to get back again !…
this sit is excellent. Two heated seawater pools replenished each night from the sea.A nice little bar, closes most evenings at 19h 30 except if s pecial dance /music etc.Lovely restaurants 1 k away in Isla Plana and further inLa Azohia.Great library games room, small shop ,off licence and great staff.Bus outside site to Cartagena and Mazzoron .excellent walks ,swims cycles around.lots of other activities arranged.Quiet site.No dogs allowed
Loved this site, so clean, stunning views, beautifully clean facilities. Warm pool even in winter. What let it down is that there is nowhere in walking distance and as we went over a wet weekend we would have appreciated the bar open on the Sunday, and for more than 2 hours on Saturday (which we missed) just so we could escape the wet motor home. It is easy to catch a bus to Cartagena but timing means it only gets you there as everywhere is shutting. I would go again but would need a car. You can cycle the other way but a busy road, and not in the rain! For this reason we left after a few days as we needed shopping and supermarket had no fresh food, not even open for bread on Sunday. They say it was the first rain since Christmas, we were just unlucky.
Stayed for a weekend. The bungalow looked brand new, everything was clean and the view was amazing. Loved the tostadas for breakfast at the bar by the thermal pool. The pizza and tinto de verano were very good too.
Spent our fourth holiday at this site and experienced 24hrs of F 5/6 winds with storm force gusts. We then realised why so many British vans had their fronts not facing the sea - it's the only way of keeping the awning out of the worst of the wind. The site is spacious and the pitches are of varying sizes - all pretty adequate. There only seems to be one disabled shower an that is on the first row. The rest of the facilities are more than adequate. The pool is clean and warm - sea water thermally heated! Bar/cafe adequate. Good Engish spoken at reception. Cash only payments - good value at ACSI rate of 19E No dogs allowed Not reviewed as an Hotel
