Nestled in Ubud's lush tranquility, The Westin Resort & Spa earns rave reviews for its serene infinity pool and luxurious spa, with the diverse breakfast and kids' club enhancing stays. Guests enjoy the enchanting atmosphere in spacious, clean rooms, though some note occasional noise. Attentive service is praised, despite rare slow responses and language barriers.
While its secluded location is mostly a plus, limited shuttle service is a drawback. Overall, the value is appreciated, balancing quality with reasonable pricing.

Detailed Reviews
We had a beautiful stay at this hotel in January. Staff were so welcoming and attentive offering complimentary welcome drinks, fruit icy poles by the pool, suggestions when planning your day, or just chatting about Balinese lifestyle and culture. The pool is incredible with views that make you feel like you are a million miles away. The setting feels tranquil even though you can walk to a minimart, and take a taxi ride into Ubud(10-15mins). Every meal we had was delicious. The breakfast was amazing with both Western and Indonesian options and plenty of fruit, juices, pastries etc. Children were welcomed by the staff, and activities were offered to those who wanted to join in - try the aqua yoga! The rooms, beds, bathrooms etc were very comfortable, perfectly clean and had everything you could possibly need for a relaxing and indulgent stay - including lavender oil to help you sleep. Thank you Titus and your staff for making our stay so enjoyable. We wish you every success in the coming months as business grows at your hotel!

My husband and I stayed 3 nights and had a lovely time.
The room: Perfect mattress, great silky sheets and fantastic pillows, the AC was whisper quiet and the bathroom lovely although hot in the late morning if your room faces the pool.
The staff: All smiles and friendly. We enjoy our chats with the bar staff in the lobby lounge. Meeting the GM for a chat one evening by the bar was also a nice touch. We took his recommendation and went on an adventurous run through the rice paddies the next morning.
The pool: Perfect in every way.
The gym: On the small side which was a concern but it was never crowded.
Restaurants: We preferred the restaurant near the pool as it just had better atmosphere.
Breakfast could do with a few extra touches such as covers over the fruit and better signage for food made to order.
The hotel is quiet new so there are things that I believe will improve over time, better communication eg: There is pancakes available at breakfast, ‘happy hour’ in the lobby bar and that the morning run is a guided run not just a map to follow 😊
The location is okay, walking distance to an indomart, not much else but only a short drive into Ubud centre (110,000rp).
Noise proofing between rooms and also between the rooms and the hall needs some attention. I would ask for a non-interconnecting room in the future as we could hear our neighbours talking and they weren’t being loud.
We would happily come back to stay again next time we were coming to Ubud and would look forward to trying the local experiences they the hotel has planned for the future.
Special mention of staff member Berlin for memorable conversations and great service!

During a family getaway over the recent Valentine’s weekend, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Westin Resort & Spa Ubud, Bali. The area is already a bit crowded, as Ubud is a popular choice for travellers to Bali, but we found the hotel to be a great addition to the accommodation options already available in the region. Its location and the overall ambiance made it feel more secluded than some of its neighbours. We particularly enjoyed the special Valentine’s dinner provided by the hotel; the service was really attentive, while the food, beverages and presentation were also fantastic. Chef Robert Murray and his team did a really great job, giving us a romantic dinner to remember. In terms of the resort’s location, it’s a located in Lodtunduh, a bit outside of Ubud, but this is actually a bonus, as it’s surrounded by some stunning views into the nearby jungle. Combined with stylish architecture and décor in elegantly appointed rooms, the resort is a very picturesque and peaceful place to be. They offer a range of daily activities to keep guests entertained, and we found the massages on offer at the spa to be some of the best we’ve had in a very long time. I would definitely recommend the Westin Resort for visitors to Ubud, whether they are single travellers, honeymooners or families. My family and I will certainly be back again soon.

Was expecting a recently opened hotel where the efforts to give a good impression and show a warm welcome to their guests was greater, but unfortunately not even a welcome appetizer or drink in the room that is something very normal in other hotels of lower rating, especially considering the long wait suffered at the check in. Communication was a struggle for check-in and took like 30 minutes.. I cannot imagine the day they are fully booked, maybe the check-in will have a queue of 2 hours..
The food needs to improve, if healthy means that portions are extremely small for their price, better be ready to order some food from elsewhere if you don’t to be hungry or you just don’t like to throw your money away..
Gym has just one cable crossover machine, few dumb bells and two treadmills. Any business hotel 4 star has lot more fitness options.
The Spa extremely expensive, and no one made any effort to explain what are the amenities or services of this hotel, we just arrived, received the key of the room, and even had to ask for location and access to the breakfast restaurant...
A tour for the so-called “resort” would have been appreciated. Not sure why is called resort but is just a small hotel with one swimming pool and just one indoor restaurant.
Not sure what is the meaning of this hotel...if relaxation means zero efforts from the staff to facilitate the stay of guests, they are spot on.

We stayed one night at The Westin Ubud to celebrate my birthday and really wished we had time to stay longer. During our stay, every staff provided us with above and beyond service. It was really nice to be greeted on a first name basis, it made us feel like home.
We just LOVE the staff and they went an extra mile to make us feel special. Once they knew it was my birthday they arranged a cake and we had a small celebration.
The rooms are very well-maintained and quite large, it’s very handy if you are traveling with children.
Their pool has a breathtaking jungle view. And they also have separate pool for kids adjacent to the kids club. Our kids had a great time at the kids club while me and my husband took some relaxing time at the spa. We honestly think that the kids club has so much potential - great venue, incredible staff, but we hope they add more open-ended toys and books in the future. However, we love that they have lego wall!
All in all an excellent hotel! We would stay here again without question!

Upon arrival we were welcomed by the hotel staff, we sipped on fresh juices whilst our check-in had been prepared. The flow of the reception overlooking the jungle coupled with the cold towels upon arrival immediately brought on a sense of relaxation. Great care has been taken into the build of this hotel, solid, expensive finishes, massive bathrooms, great convenience and user friendly rooms.
The staff are absolutely accommodating and are ready to attend to any request, a special thanks to the hotel manager, Titus lives out the Westin brand principles.
Overall a very comfortable hotel, big enough to enjoy your own space whilst small enough to have your special requests attended to!

I stayed 3 nights during the pandemic in the Westin Resorts and Spa Ubud. They applied the health protocol very well as they provide sanitizer in every corner, spray disinfectant regularly, and checking body heat for all visitor.
Really enjoyed my stay here since it is very quite and feels like my family private hotel :)
The room is spacious, clean bathroom with bathtub, the view is stunning, staffs are very friendly and greets us all the time. My favorite is the infinity pool and kids club.
Feels like home and definitely will come back :)

Stayed in Westin Ubud for 3 nights of family holiday.
It was the best part of our 8 nights in Bali, albeit being the smallest hotel we stayed in.
As a start, Westin Ubud is located in a very nice part of Ubud, with pristine jungle viewable from its backyard and swimming pool.
While it was on a more quiet part (didn't hear any vehicle sound during our stay in the hotel), it was a mere 10 minutes drive from the area where there were so many restaurants (Bali's babi guling, Greek, Italian, Sushi, Taco, etc.).
The hotel has perfect blend of contemporary design and usage of materials that blends well into its surrounding.
From the moment we arrived and had a smooth check-in until the time we checked-out, we always feel welcomed and met with genuine friendliness and hospitality.
The room (we had deluxe room, which is the lowest category) has just the right amount of space, enough for our 6 y.o. daughter and 3 y.o. son to run and play around.
The design and furnishing of the room is just right and really made us feel at home.
The layout and equipment of the bathroom is superb and make sense on all aspect.
We had a great breakfast executed with high quality, albeit the reduced options to the current situation.
The restaurant crew both at Tabia (for breakfast) and Tall Trees (had lunch there) were friendly and helpful.
The swimming pool is simply stunning.
While not very big, but it was spacious enough for all the guests during the time we were there.
Both the pool and the surrounding area with the chairs etc. was kept clean all the time by the staffs.
The kids club was a basic room.
But most importantly it was kept clean all the time and spacious enough for all the kids to have their activity.
The staffs that were ready to accompany the kids and assist them with activities meant my children felt excited to keep coming back to the kids club.
Being part of Marriott chain, it pretty much meet all my expectation for cleanliness, hospitality, and quality.
Overall, Westin Ubud has become my preferred place to stay in Ubud.

I stay there celebrating my wedding 7th anniversary. And We. Enjoy. Every. Seconds. Time. Spent. There.
The vibe, the rooms, the swimming pool, the gym, the services. We just love there!
My daughter spend the entire day in the kids club, while me spending my time in their state-of-art gym.
Breakfast was very well served with health and safety protocols being strictly applied, making us feeling comfortable. A lot of options for food and we even tried in room dining. Very worth it.

Just recently finished our 1 month family vacation before Lebaran till Vesak in Bali. We’re really enjoyed our 3 night stays in Westin. They have non smoking policy for all of the guests, so we don’t smell any cigarettes during our stay. Even though we can’t get on the same floor for junior suite and deluxe. The location is near to some ATV and Rafting activities, so that is an option to spend time on. Thank you Ddi Efan for the warm hospitality to my mom, she mentioned that she’s really loved to talk to him and hopes his doing great there during his training.

Hi there, yes the restaurant (for breakfast) mostly served halal (Local food), however to cater the non-moslem they also have non-halal food. I strongly believe that they differentiate the utensils too. Enjoy your stay at Westin Ubud
