Eugene and the rest of the resort management went out of their way to make our stay an unforgettable experience. It was the perfect reset for me and my husband to have some quiet time away from our boys and our big family to just sit quietly by the beach, listen to the waves and disconnect from the rest of the world. The yummy food was a plus too. Fourth visit for me and it’s consistently good. Amazing home-cooked meals like we’d get at our Lola’s house. Well-worth the 250 steps up and down the resort. 🥰

If you're looking for white sand beaches or bustling tourist nightlife, Lilom is not for you.

If you want a quiet, private place to relax and a beautiful underwater snorkeling haven to enjoy, you'll love this place!

Friendly and helpful staff, check.
Good food, check.
Unlimited French-pressed coffee, check.
Sunset mojitos, check.
Cozy rooms, check.
Breathtaking coral reef to explore, check.

And all of this is included in the price of your stay! Now that's good value.

We went here twice in less than a month. The first one was in mid December for our company's annual pre-holiday activity and the next was right after the New Year. It can be quite hard to find a dog-friendly resort so whenever we find one, we end up coming back regularly.

The resort is small, just like a private resthouse. The interior is not grand. It was very simple, with some recycled furniture. There is no television. All rooms have their own mini verandas. The structures are built in a u-shape so the guests can enjoy the sea breeze in their own little nook outside of each room. There is grass and some sitting areas at the middle facing the sea which is a perfect spot to have coffee at sunrise and their complimentary mojito at sunset. Beach is rocky but very nice for a quick sunset stroll.

They have two mini dipping pools. When I say mini, I mean mini, like the size of a small hot tub. But it was perfect for my infant baby.

Food is just okay. Let's just say I would not come back there for their food but I will be back for the ambience.

This is a place that's perfect for some quiet time. We were lucky that we went there at times when there are only a few rooms booked. I'm not sure if it will feel as relaxing if the place is fully booked.

This is a nice little getaway place if you want some peace and quiet and lots of privacy. The rooms are small, the food is good and the fresh air is great. Staff is friendly. The rooms are lit a bit dark but airconditioning is ample. There is wifi in the dining area. It's good for groups (team building, family reunions) and advisable to rent the entire place if you want privacy since there are only about 7 cottages available. You won't go hungry here as cost includes food. It's ok to bring your own snacks since there are no nearby convenience stores. Keep the noise down at night.

This is a great place to relax and recharge. Loved the food, especially the muscovado butter. You will definitely not go hungry here. The mojito was good though a bit weak. As other reviewers have mentioned, the place is very small. It's wonderful if you have the place to yourselves. However, it might get a bit too close for comfort if there is another group with you. Might be a bit challenging to go to if you are mobility-impaired. The place is very pet friendly. You just have to inform management beforehand.

Would love to come back here again!

Their staff, the food specially the place is a total package.

♡ They dont have a contact number but you can email them if you want to make a reservation @ lilomresort@gmail.com

♡ Prior reservation is needed for them to prepare the food hence they are serving freshly cooked full board meal (mostly filipino inspired cuisine).

♡ Lilom is located in front of the beach wherein you enjoy the sunset view with their famous sunset mojito cocktail drinks.I love the WIFI Password:
(SunsetMojitoEveryday)

♡ How to get there: Ride a bus in Buendia with (Batangas Pier signing board). Ask the driver to drop you off at the Diversion Road then hail a jeepney going to Mabini Anilao. Ask again the driver to drop you off in the tricycle terminal where you can hire trikes that will take you to Lilom Resort.(Bus,Jeepney,Tricycle) It will takes 3-4hrs for travel time but it still depends on traffic.

♡ Once arrived on lilom's hilltop carpark, you need to go down the hill for about 220 steps to reach Lilom Resort. Hence we accompanied with our not so old nanay, she doesn't mind having a hard time going down because we're so excited and in the same time so early for the check-in time so we still have time while assisting nanay step by step. Lovely staff welcome us with their refreshing welcome drinks and so amazed on how beautiful this place can be.

♡ Lilom served Buffet Lunch, Meryenda, Mojito cocktail every sunset, Dinner Buffet and Breakfast Buffet. If you want to have a lunch before check-out you need to inform them a day before.

♡ They can also booked you an activities like scuba diving. They also have complete gears for snorkling like lifevest if you want.

Everything is so perfect. We'll surely come back and once we go back we're already the master. The master of art of doing nothing. KUDOS!

We stayed here for our 9th anniversary. We loved how secluded the place was, and particularly loved the expanse of trees surrounding the resort. We booked Satcho's House, and had a lovely view of the sea from the bed and especially from the hammock. Our favorite part was drinking ice cold beers from the plunge pool--views were awesome as you get the sea on one side and the lovely trees and hillside from the other.

The food served was also delicious and generous. We especially loved the surprise pitcher of mojitos at sunset and the yummy snack that came with it. Also appreciated the freshly cooked turon (fried banana rolls) they served, it was perfect with coffee.

The room was rustic and simple, definitely for a no-frills traveler. However, the decor and rustic charm played a huge part in the overall appeal of the place.

Come here to get some alone time with such a peaceful and quiet environment. Snorkeling just outside the resort is superb, just make sure to borrow aqua shoes. My husband had a great time capturing photos of the rocks and boulders just below the resort by the beach.

They have a parking area about 5 minutes away from the resort. You have to walk a bit by the shore to get to the resort from the parking area.

Yes yes. The beach was definitely rocky and not very conducive for the usual beach bums. But, our experience here was soooo relaxing. It's not too far from manila, their package includes buffet meals, plus snacks, plus sunset mojitos, plus coffee or tea, the facilities are well maintained and the snorkeling gear and water toys are free for use. Lively underwater scenes not too far away from the beach.
