We stayed in the "Junior Suite" which is the renovated barn next to the Hotel with its own terrace. Very comfortable. Only the double-bed needs some overhaul. The owners are very friendly and very helpful. Dinner was just great with delicious wine from their own winery. It is a "dog- friendly" hotel which is not usual in Spanish hotels! We...

Lovely, friendly, hardworking couple. He is a great, great cook, we had a wonderful dinner. At breakfast you can ask for anything you wish for and they will make it for you. It is very, quiet out there. We stayed in a separate little cottage. You can sit outside or inside for dinner and breakfast.

The "masia" is restored really well, with many original pieces of furniture, cute little corners where you can sit and relax with a glass of wine. It's very quiet and clean. Situated in a middle of vineyards. The only problem was that the owners are trying to do it all by themselves and they look a bit overwhelmed or lost...

We really liked this place (our first stop on a short bike trip in the Penedes). It is very quite among the vineyards, the place has a "vibe" - you really want to be there. This itself is a reason to go there. However, dinner was heaven. This man can cook, it was untill now our best dinner in Spain...

This place is wonderful, perfect location for some great vineyard and cellar tours by bike or car, beautiful countryside, fantastic property, really charming. The hotel arranged a wine tour for us at 24 hours notice, had bikes we could borrow, gave us maps, directions, phone numbers, they were so helpful. I would highly recommend you have dinner here at the...

We spent one special night at Gimenelles and we were very sorry we had to leave. We were warmly welcomed by the owner Mr. jordi warmly as we arrived and immediately felt that we are in the right place. This old Castel is beautifully decorated with wonderful view to the vineyards around. The rooms are very clean and comfortable everything...

A wonderful rural hotel located in Penedes wine area. The owner were very welcoming and helpful. Their recommendations for vineries to visit were excellent. The food was very good. It is very much a relaxing rural experience with friendly people and pets. Our room was beautiful and spotlessly clean.

My wife and I spent 3 nights at Castell de Gimenelles, just wonderful! Jordin and Mayte (owners) are very friendly and helpful. The place is clean, everyday the rooms are cleaned. Jordi offers a menu every night (26€) which is really worth it, he's a great cook! They also sell regional products (oil, creams wine), all worth their price. The...

My boyfriend and I just spent 3 wonderful days (2 nights) at this place. Where to start? the house and the surrounding lands are beautiful and peaceful. Maite and her partner are warm, respectful, always ready to help, and go out of the way to make sure you feel welcome and pampered. One of my favorite things were the dinners...

You just don't find that storybook 280 year old renovated farmhouse on the Spanish vineyard grounds with the upstairs fireplace and the top rate chef just waiting to make what you'd like.......too often. Nope, you might find some of those features. This place has it all. Couple it with proximity to Barcelona, very reasonable prices, and friendly hosts....and dog.....and you...
