St James Resort is on Mamora beach and 4*. Good rooms, cleanliness, sizeable rooms and facilities including adult pool. Several restaurants and bars including a bar to 2am. All inclusive resort. Enjoy and relax. Out of the way resort but shuttle bus available to St John's the capital.

Our room was located on the first floor overlooking the ocean. The cleanliness and comfort was exceptional of our room and as a little tip they provide rooms with either one or two beds in. We requested one large bed rather than two separate ones. Each room comes with a coffee making machine and a fridge.

We've just got back from a week in Antigua staying at St James's. It has an amazing location on a peninsular with a calm bay on one side and the Atlantic on the other - both with fantastic sandy beaches. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a good range of things to do - sailing, kayaking, paddle...

Have been coming here for 10 years now and am consistently impressed by the food, staff and accommodation. I stayed in the suites, for the first time, with my father for two weeks. The room is very well designed, and will sleep four if needed. As for the view off the balcony - wow! An awe-inspiring view of the Atlantic...

Booked this rather last minute as an All Inclusive holiday but had read the reviews and spoken to a travel agent who was very familiar with the resort and highly recommended it. Classed as a 4 star+ (I believe). 35-40 min bumpy drive from the airport. Beautiful resort and a lovely relaxed vibe. Friendly staff. We had booked a Royal Suite...

We travelled here at the suggestion of a friend who has been to the resort a number of times, and we can see why having been to St James's ourselves. Without repeating comments made by other contributors it covers all the bases. Two very different beaches - one with a nice breeze, another more calm; a selection of water based...

Let me just start off by saying the only reason I gave 4 stars was because the resort beach was not to my satisfactory. Way too much seaweed, which I am surprised no one really mentioned it on their review before. Either way, the staff, food and entertainment was 5 stars hands down. I would definitely visit St James again....

Stayed here for 7 nights in October 2016 and had a great time. Our room was a good size and had everything we needed. The resort has two beaches, one wavy and one calm, with plenty of sunbeds to choose from. Restaurants are good and we didn't get bored of the food. Most of the staff were lovely, a few...

Spectacular venue with excellent water sport facilities and beaches. We went all inclusive, but disappointed by mediocre/bland food, including the 'fine dining' restaurant at extra cost $37.50 per head plus cost of bottled wine. Check in and check out requires a lot of time and patience, but all other service was exemplary. Would certainly visit again, although make provision for...

Let me start with the positives. Many more sunbeds than people, now that has to be a major plus. For sure it is late November so not high season but I would guess the place is 50-60% full. So a real benefit. There are Hobies, paddle boards and kayaks on the beach and a designated swimming area in the lagoon....
