I revisited Patuha Lodge in January, this time taking my two daughters with me. We were just there overnight, but we were made so welcome by the lovely owners, made full use of the laundry facilities and the big spa bath, the very good wifi connection - and breakfast was splendid! It's changed a little since 2013, when I came...

The place is just amazing. The location was great, nestled in the arms of Egmont national park. The farm lodge is beautiful in its entirety and Sally is a wonderful host too. Though the rooms are pretty comfortable, they are not self contained.. The fridge and utensils are in a common pantry. No sky TV too. If you looking for...

The patuha lodge is fantastic for those wanting to get away to the country side, relax and enjoy some fantastic scenery. The lodge is situated near mt taranaki, which is spectacular, on a farming property. At the end of the (very long) driveway is a charming lodge with very friendly staff welcoming you. The rooms are large and bed very...

Stayed here for a couple of nights. It had been recently renovated and looked really good and was clean and comfortable. The owner was very friendly and helpful throughout. The location was quiet and out of the way - but quite a drive up a gravel track. The mountain paths were a bit of a drive away but it was...

For my Mum's 80th birthday, my family all stayed at Patuha lodge for two days. We all really enjoyed ourselves. It's such a tranquil place with bush all around it. The air is mountain fresh without being too chilly. Sally is very welcoming and looked after us very well. Breakfasts were included and we enjoyed bacon and eggs cereal fruit...

If you're looking for a beautiful spot nestled in the shadow of Mt. Taranaki, this is it. The drive in is on a scenic private road wandering through the working farm that it is part of. I loved the drive as you feel as though you're entering another world, which you are. The sleeping accommodations are beautifully decorated with every...

This lodge may be a great place to stay if you want a quiet get away with meals provided but if you are looking for a self contained base near Mt. Egmont - go elsewhere. It is very isolated and is a long way from the Mt Egmont visitor centres and any shopping facilities. The driveway up to the lodge...

Very obliging owner, Sally, who was always willing to help and direct. Her dinner of Tarragon Chicken and her Breakfasts very delicious. Away from the Hurly Burley and traffic of New Plymouth. The gravel road is only is 2kms and you feel away from it all

Recently whilst attending a wedding near this location we had the pleasure of staying three nights at this lodge. We were two of a large group of family and friends staying at the lodge and our host was on her own which would be very daunting but not for Sally who was very accomadating and made our stay memorable. The...
