Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We spent one night in this hotel because it was one of the cheapest option in area. There was an couple of places with mold on the wall and bathroom had poorly covered window facing the corridor so basically everybody on that level could see you bathing.

Stayed here for five nights. Our room was on fifth floor. It was 3 bed room but we were given double room price. Its a really nice bright and clean room with good hot water. The staff are all really nice and speak good English. The location is good as its peaceful but still near town and beach is 1min walk away.

The hotel itself is more than fine, especially for this price. Rooms are large, clean and beds comfortable. It's more than what we expected for this price. Note that breakfast is not included, it's was an extra 50.000D for a good breakfast with eggs, bred, jam, fruits and Vietnamese coffee. They also cooked a really nice dinner for us a la carte, we could order what we wanted in the afternoon, and it was charged 90.000 per pers for a large meal of squid, salad, rice, spring rolls, few snacks and fruits. Well worth it.
As said in previous review, the problem stays in local teenagers, quite creepy and disturbing. It seems that western people are not commun around there, and quite an amusement. We have been travelling for months by motorbike in vietnam, we have been in some very remote places, and still we found this one really annoying. Other thing is the famous "long beach" 500 m from the hotel, is a proper rubbish disposal, real shame !
But anyway the hotel was find, and they were super friendly, even with a very basic english =). If you have to stop over, I would recommend this place

Our room was disgustingly dirty - the bed linen was stained and covered in hair, bins had not been emptied from previous guests, cigarette ash on bedside cabinets, realise we paid only 9US, but still expect basic cleanliness. We tried to ask to be changed to a clean room, but we have no Vietnamese language skills and the receptionist on duty could not speak English. Their only saving grace was they allowed us to leave our luggage all day while we rented a motorbike from them to go visit Ganh Da Dia.

I had stayed in Nhiet Doi hotel for 2 nights. VIP room in 1st floor is big and quite convenience. The price is so reasonable.
This hotel is not new, but acceptable.
It not included breakfast but you can find a lot of places with delicious breakfast in Tuy Hoa.
Strongly recommend for travelers.

We stayed here in Tet holiday. The room is nice and clean; the bed is convenient. The staff is helpful. This hotel locates at the center so it will be convenient for you to go around. The room rate is ~$10/ night and this is very reasonable price compare to others. We checked out really late in the afternoon (3:00pm) but they did not ask for any additional fee despite the peak season for hotel rooms. They gave us a big impress on that. We will stay in this hotel again if we come back to Phu Yen.

When we first checked in, the hotel seemed pretty ace for AU$12: it's close to the beach; the furniture, curtains and decor seemed nice; the room has a fridge and a balcony. But before we'd even unpacked, the rot began to set in: the balcony, which obviously hadn't encountered a broom or mop for some time, was covered in grime and cigarette butts; the (dead) pot plant on the balcony was encrusted with dozens more cigarette butts; toiletry sachets in the bathroom had been opened and used; there was chewing gum stuck inside the wall in the bathroom, the side of the bedside table, and - worse - in the centre of the bedhead; the bottom of the fridge, which contained none of the listed 'minibar' items, was covered in old food crumbs and debris, with an old plastic bag (full of god-only-knows-what) stuck to the inside of the unfrosted freezer; a highly unpleasant stench pervaded the room; loud buzzing from the aircon units located on the balcony kept us awake all night; the bed sheet had holes in it; the bedspread was stained and disgusting; and the pillows on the chairs were covered in stains. To add insult to injury, the aircon unit didn't work properly; the owner's son refused to accept that the room was grotty; and they had the hide to switch off the wifi at 9:00 am, the morning after we checked in (at 6:00 pm!).

My wife and I booked into this hotel on the strength of tripadvisor reviews. The good reviews about the hotel are accurate. The rooms are spotlessly clean, spacious enough and have hot water. There is a lift. For the price, it is very good value. The owner is friendly and has some English. The receptionist had very little / no English which made life a little difficult on arrival. The breakfast is ok for 50k VND. 2 eggs, a roll, a small salad and vietnamese style coffee. Given the dearth of other eateries it may be wise to eat here.

The hotel is a long walk from the train station. Take a taxi - it should not cost more than 25k VND. Taxi drivers do not speak English so have the name and address of the hotel written down.

After finally finding something to eat, we arrived back at the hotel around 1pm and it was closed with shutters down. We thumped on the front gate to no avail. Eventually we found a back alley and thumped on the back gate and the receptionist eventually arose from his slumber to let us in.

On check out the card machine did not work. Take cash.
