The staff here are friendly, rooms were clean. The staff was helpful when our shower "leaked". They don't typically caulk the tubs to the walls here. The pool needs some updating. There are no bars nor are there any bars in town. The place was average not a resort or all inclusive style known by Westerners or Europeans but a decent hotel. To swim go to the beach especially at noon. There is no one there. I. The morning there are a ton of people but everything is within walking distance beach is about .5 to 1km away.

I stayed for three nights in November 2014. The room was large and had comfortable beds. Free wi fi, bottled water, cable tv, mini fridge and a safe. The room was clean, and with an ocean view. The free breakfast was ok. The staff are friendly and do there best to answer any questions you may have. The one disappointment that I had was the swimming pool. It was dirty and I was sure that they had not treated the water. When I asked, they did say that they would clean the pool, but I told them not to bother. If the pool was cleaned and water tested every day, I think the guests would use it.

Dear, Thank you for choosing Kaya Hotel. It's our pleasure to serve you and we are thankful that you love the hotel's facility. By this time we would like to apologize about the pool that had disappointed you. As you may know the weather did not go too well for us to treat the water properly. Once again, we highly appreciate your compliment at the same time we also learn a lot from your opinion about the pool. We look forward to seeing you to be back here again. Best Regards, Nguyen Trat Luan

I stayed in Kaya hotel for 3 nights with my husband in january, 2014. It located in the central of tuy hoa city. We got a beautiful, clean room that we can see the view of the beach each morning when we woke up. We got every thing we need in our room such as wifi , cable tivi, fridge and mini safe, etc ...in the room which I am pleased. We had free breakfast included if you are staying the hotel. Very nice, friendly and helpful staff in kaya hotel made us love the most. They showed us some amazing places to visit the country town while we were there. There were a lot of different good meals served in 15 th floor of the hotel. The manager told me they have great deals from time to time that we will definitely come back next time ....... a wonderful time while we were in phu yen , viet nam. love this hotel :)

thank you

Four of us were traveling by bicycle from Saigon to Hanoi. Sadly this hotel rates as the worst one of our journey. Frankly, it is a weird place; from the outside and reception area it looks almost ritzy, and it apparently receives a 4 star rating (how this is determined in Vietnam is a mystery).
Pros:
Room was large, and clean
Had in room coffee
Bed was comfy (very firm as Asian mattresses are)
Room was quiet at night (though there was quite a lot of noise at the end of the hall for about an hour around 6 pm)
Cons:
-There did not appear to be any people staying in this hotel other than the 4 of us
-There was a girl at a desk right at the end of the corridor as you stepped off the elevator on our floor whose function was unknown (I checked other floors...none other had this) Security? Never found out why but it was very unusual.
-No hot coffee at breakfast...they had coffee, on a hot plate but the coffee was cold despite our requests for HOT
-The pool chairs (lounge chairs) all broken backs-pool is outdoors on 6th floor and climate is hot year round
- Pool had green algae floating in it and we saw a rat run along the edge so we didn't go in it
-We ate dinner at their restaurant on the top floor...it was comical!!! They had a huge menu that went on for pages...and about 3 people who supposedly were waiting on us..every thing we ordered they were out of so we finally settled on what do you have? "OK bring us that"
-Wait staff was totally inattentive and seemed to wish we weren't there even though there were no other diners
-At the end of the meal they even charged us for our napkins! (the little moist towelettes sealed in plastic that they deposited at our places at the beginning of the meal)

Can't recommend this place and I wouldn't use it again, although I did get a decent nights sleep. If you got a cheap rate and all you wanted was to sleep it would be fine but don't go in expecting a 4 star hotel, with good service.

This place is awesome, the location is at the central of Phu Yen, I have been here for my holiday and I can't believe how amazing it is. The view from room to the city and the pool all are great. The breakfast and the food in the restaurants are delicious. The staff is very kind, polite and helpful. They are friendly and they go out of their way to make you feel special and welcomed.

Special mentions for Ms. Hieu in Reservations who was incredibly helpful, she was very kind to me and made sure everything was taken care of.

If I ever come back to Phu Yen, Kaya hotel is the place i'd wanna be at!
Thank you so much guys for giving me the best memories.

4 stars? You must be kidding me... I went to the Kaya to try their amenities and spa. First off I could not get on wifi at the restaurant despite being told by 4 people that I could access it and moved to 4 different tables. I RECEIVED THE WRONG FOOD WHEN I ORDERED AND I ORDERED IN VIETNAMESE!!!!!! Once I did get the correct order (which they did not want to make and insisted I eat the food they brought out) it was disgusting. I have had a better club sandwiches at a make-believe tea party with my little sister. My companion ordered fried noodles. Guess what? it was a $0.20 pack of instant noodles with lettuce thrown in a frying pan for 10seconds. Then to try and calm myself down I decided to get a massage and go to the Spa. They must have just yelled out the window and taken they first guy off the street. My back still hasn't recovered. I got into the sauna and it was O.K but it was clear that many naked asian men had sat in it for years without once considering a wash. YUCK. HAHAHA then I was asked to sit in the hot tub there were 4 of them, I tried them all! FREEZING COLD WATER not to mention the smell. It was clear that in the 3 years the Kaya has been open they have NEVER changed the water or figure out any way to heat them up. I have never seen so many mosquito's in my life so I guess something is enjoying the tubs. The swimming pool? What swimming pool? I have seen bathtubs larger then it. All of the paint is chipping, the hallways are dimly lit and un-airconditioned so the smell permeates through the entire building. Lastly, the elevators... If you are looking for a thrill seeking adventure if you are a skydiver or enjoy extreme sports then you will love these elevators. No certification stickers or inspection postings, they are fast and jerky and the doors will sometimes only open half way... USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. In conclusion, if you like to burn money and be treated like an idiot then stay at the Kaya. Otherwise, avoid at all costs. There are dozens of hotels in walking distance which are far nicer and cleaner that cost between 5 - 8 USD per night. If you want to know which ones to try stay tuned for my next review.

Rooms were outdated, extremely poor massage service had the audacity to ask for a tip more than the price of the massage itself (190,000 VND). Definitely not a four star hotel, but only deserving of a three star rating at the absolute most. Hot water not functioning, internet not functioning, the experience with this hotel can be considered as an ORDEAL.

The hotel is very new, or at least it seems to look very new and modern. The room is spacious with a bit of Japanese interior style, and is well maintained in great condition. The view is great to wake up and enjoy in the early morning. Truly enjoy the peaceful and quiet space here.

The staffs are great with friendly attitude and very service oriented. We have an incident with the motorbike they rented us, however they did listen and sort it out well. My advise to fellow travelers going to Ganh Da Dia or nearby beaches is to rent a taxi with fixed price for both way, unless if you are an adventurer and want to enjoy the great feeling of riding in the immense scenery :). Inbox me if you need more information on the fixed price for taxi.

Been to Tuy Hoa for a charity campaign and had a chance to stay in this hotel. Small but nice, from friendly staff to cozy lobby. The room I had was quite good, kinda impressive when I got into the room, everything was well arranged.
I will definitely come back here if I have another chance to visit Tuy Hoa, also will recommend my friends to try.
