As a hotel, we believe in good quality service, so thats what we focus on . Quality.. not quantity. In the hotel we have different types of rooms for you to choose from. The room you chose was one of our two cheapest rooms in the hotel, which dont have a TV. All other rooms have a 43" Tv with internet for you to watch netflix or directv or any other service that you might be subscribed to. So you chose the cheapest room which you knew it didnt have a TV. When you arrived to the hotel, it was past 11 pm at night, you were very loud and came in drinking liquor. Our house rules says that allguest must respect others guests sleep after 11pm, So thats why our receptionist asked you politely to please go to your room a little more quietly so that it didnt disturbed other guests sleep. We also had to ask you to turn down your music because it was way too loud and it was heard all over the hotel. This was a little before 2 am in the morning. Again.. Braking house rules. We just wanted to make sure others were not disturbed at those late hours. Your room had a window.. in fact, all rooms have windows. But since you chose the cheapest room, it was a window looking at a hallway. We offered a different room for you at check in and told you about the tv and the room being at the hallway, but you didnt want to pay more. We are not 5 stars, but we surely are not 1 star. Compare our prices with other acomodations and you will see that we give you way more for the buck. Lets not forget about coffee my friend, which we have in the garden area, which is a great social area to hang out, every morning for our guest.. and yes.. its free.. you can drink as much as you want. At the restaurant, also is free.. and if you want it with milk, there s no problem, we give it to you at no extra charge. You gave us a bad review in booking and now created a profile on tripadvisor to give us the worst rating possible, just because we asked you to respect the rules of the hotel and behave properly in a family friendly hotel. Oh.. social areas.. i dont know how you can say that we dont have social areas if we have a soccer court, tejo cours, a big restaurant and gardens? Lies are never good my friend Alex. I invite everyone that reads this review to check out our pictures of the hotel, soccer court, tejo courts, food (one of the best in town), rooms, activities and so on.. Happy travels!!

Hotel was quite empty due to current Coronavirus scare. Rooms were small and can get stuffy as no external facing windows. Has wifi included and helped us with laundry. Has a good restaurant with friendly staff.

When you look at Beta hotel from the street, it might not look so special, but inside it has a lot of charm, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and very cosy. Basically no noice from the outside even though it's very close to the town square. What's most notable is however the great customer service and hospitality from everyone in the staff. Very accommodating. Would recommend this place to anybody.

Lovely family that really takes care of you. They speak English very well and they go out of their way to make you feel at home. Location is great, you’re a few steps away from the city center. They have activities like playing Tejo, they will assist you on booking trips or travels and there are bicycles for rent. Try one of the tours to the surrounding coffee plantations. That was impressive! Thanks for being such lovely hosts!
