Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Visited there on a nice day in December. Beautiful scenery and even though the twelve are not there anymore it still has amazing views of the ocean and what is left of the apostles. Definitely worth a visit to this iconic place on the great ocean road

Wow wow wow!! Absolutely breath taking to see finally!! Even though some of the apostles have succumb to the sea, it’s still amazing to see with great photo opportunities. The carpark is on the opposite side of the road, and there’s a most flat easy walking path under the road out to the observation points.

I can't really put into words how incredible 12 Apostles Secret Spot is, but I will give it a go. My best friend and I arrived at 12 Apostles in February before the world turned upside down. First, the place is absolutely stunning. Incredible views, big comfy beds, enticing verandas, and practically on the doorstep of the 12 Apostles - easily one of the most beautiful destinations in the Australia, if not the world. All of the above make this destination a must stop on your Great Ocean Road adventure. However, what truly made this place so special was the absolutely wonderful host, Robyn. Reading the many reviews that reference this incredible lady is testament to not only her fantastic hospitality, but her infectious and wonderful personality. Sharing a great meal together and putting the world to rights as we sipped wine and took in the jaw dropping surroundings was a memorable experience that money just can’t buy. As soon as lockdown eases, do yourself a favour and head on down to 12 Apostles Secret Spot – you won’t regret it.

Certain places and people are just special- Robyn and her lovely home just are; definitely the best kept secret on the Great Ocean Road. The warmest reception and best poached eggs ever beat any 5 star experience , blessed to have met this wonderful lady.

In an area where prices are high for overnight stays, you really need to visit here for a good comfortable night and a delightful breakfast. This has everything from a warm room in winter to a very comfortable bed and full size en-suite. Robyn goes to exceptional lengths to be welcoming and we arrived in very wet weather. Going out to eat that night, there was even a torch laid out for us at the foot of the drive. Beautifully quiet place to stay. Could not be happier

Robyn is a superb chef, breakfast will power you through a day of hiking! We stayed here for 3 nights while hiking the Great Ocean Walk. Rooms are comfortable and the home is charming with views out of every window of the rolling countryside. Robyn is very knowledgeable about the region having lived there many years. She and her chickens and dog, Deco, are a delight. Our stay with her was one of the highlights of our trip to Australia. Thanks Robyn!

Well worthy of 4 hours long drive visit from Melbourne city at the hotel we stayed. Upon arrival, wifey and I was simply stunned with the mesmerizing view where it feels like time stood still and life is just rejuvenated. Layers of water lines on the beach wall is a proof that Golbal Warming is super-real. We can sit here and stare at the ocean like... forever. Love the trip!

We were welcomed by a very enthousiastic Robyn, and hardly had time to drop te suitcases as she was full of stories. We exchanged information about the ironsand stones we found all along the cliffs, the snails in the garden and the repair of the sliding door. The small room (12m2) was a delight with garden view. It would have a sunset as well, when the weather would be clear. Bathroon 5m2, bedsize 2m x 1,5m. Coffee, tea, heater, no TV. In the morning we had fun abbout the different egg colours Robyn prepaired for breakfast.

It was just wow driving all the way through Melbourne to 12 apostles was super fun and frolistic experience!! I must want everyone to have that experience travelling to Melbourne so you can enjoy the core of it to the best aussie way and it would be great if your staying near to that area overnight and back next day so you can hop on and off to many places in between your ride Seeing jumping kangaroos while the drive in the open big grounds is so beautiful!
