Modern (and I guess pretty new) hotel with big family room. Personnel was extremely professional and nice. Breakfast was very good with great products (of course cappuccino was perfect but also fresh fruit, great eggs with bacon, a lots of sweet choice). Can be a good place to stop to visit Modena. 2 trattorie are at walking distance (few meters from the hotel).

We enjoyed a delightful overnight stay here. The hotel is lovely and clean with big rooms. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming, the restaurant next door is lovely, we enjoyed a delicious evening meal there. Our breakfast was good with plenty of choices. Parking was safe and secure.

Visiting the Reggio Emilia region was no mistake but carefully planned, allowing us to experience the Italian countryside. The Casalgrande Hotel provided the best comforts. The warm reception, beautiful, clean bedrooms and scrumptious, wide selection at breakfast made the stay all the better. The nearby trattoria with its delectable food and the 1 Star Michelin restaurant added to this small town’s charm. The visit to the Balsamic and Parmagiano Regiano venues, observing production and tasting their goods was lip smacking. Casalgrande is well located, making the above easily accessible. Grazie for a lovely stay.

Lovely stopover on a journey through Italy. quite a remote hotel, beautiful landscape. Very quiet, fantastic service, friendly people. Lovely breakfast. Thoroughly recommend, travelled with two children age 5 and 1. Hotel was very accommodating provided a really nice travel cot for my one-year-old. A very good, spotlessly clean hotel, with nice bed linen, close to Modena.

Excellent hotel. Clean and spacious room. Good breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff. Free internet and Internet corner to print stuff. Free parking. Good restaurants within walking distance. Gym which I did not go to so cannot comment. Generally I loved the place and would definitely go back.

The hotel was just a little bit hard to find, but it was worth every minute "lost" on the way to it, away from the highway. There was plenty of parking area outside the hotel and in their garage. Very professional staff; the rooms were fine; the workout room is small, but sufficient - I guess - for the kind of clientele visiting that property; no restaurant in the hotel but there were 2 restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast was the highlight of our stay: everything expected was there and their cakes are unforgettable, locally make and after praising the lady attending to the tables for these wonderful cakes, she kindly wrapped two pieces for us for the trip. The price for the breakfast was an extra 5 EUR per person; don't hesitate to opt for it. We will stop there again next time we travel to Italy.

I've been some times in Modena and this is the best hotel! It is located app 10 km from Modena (so you will have to take a cab) but in my opinion the room rate + cab fare is the same as staying in center of Modena at a good hotel (and believe me they are not so good ...). Casalgrande is totally new, huge rooms, everything top quality and the best european breakfast I saw in a while. Besides this near the hotel is one of the best trattoria - even if from outside looks like an old farm, the food is amayzing!
