Travellers' Choice
Niriis is a small family hotel, located 100m away from the sea, in Agii Apostoli area, 4km west of Chania. Within a walking distance, between one to two minutes (100m), there are three beaches, swimming pools, mini markets, restaurants, park, hotel bars, bus stop, taxi rank and a communal car parking. Niriis Hotel has 22 rooms. Every apartment is equipped with a kitchenette (fridge, two cooking hobs and cooking utensils), en-suite shower and toilet, TV, air-conditioning, safety box, phone, and has balcony, a minimum of two single beds, wardrobe, kitchen table and chairs. Most apartments have two beds, but there are 8 three-bed apartments, and two four-bed apartments with two separate rooms. Although Niriis Hotel has no swimming pool, residents can use the swimming pools of nearby hotels (the property has a special agreement). There is also no restaurant or bar in the hotel, but there is plenty of choice within the area.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here twice during our holiday ! We were upgraded to a private room for only 6 euros and went from a shared apartment to a 4 bed apartment with an en suite and a kitchenette! We were welcomed by George the owner (super friendly guy) who gave us lots of advice of what to do in the area and the best places to hike. We were 2 minute walk to the beach and had easy access to free parking. We loved it so much we returned to the hotel again at the end of our trip. We would definetly recommend and visit again! Thanks George:)

Highly highly recommend Niris Hotel & a wonderful place to stay! Stayed here April/May 2019, travelling alone & still recommend this hotel for solo travellers, couples, families, friend groups + larger groups. Niris Hotel is a family-run & owned hotel with very accessible & centric location. Extremely close to the Chania Town Downtown Centre (you can go back & forth countless times during one day) yet you will be away from city noise & crowds. It is situated in a beautiful, serene & relaxing location with amazing beaches - a beach resort life accessibly minutes from the centre! The beach is a short walk down (I would walk over in swimsuit + towel constantly during the day!) & Niris Hotel has many tavernas, restaurants, shops, parks for workouts & walks, volleyball & tennis courts, pools & banks around plus very Centric & Accessible Bus Transportation + car rental options if you would like. They also have airport pickup. Expect fast, very helpful & kind communication & you can book tours & trips with Niris as well. I cancelled my other Greek island bookings + flights once I found everything I was looking for in one place: history, scenic panoramas, gorgeous beaches, hidden coves to explore, wonderful people, amazing nightlife, fantastic food, very clean spacious & very comfortable rooms with kitchenette & everything you will need, very clean washroom, A/C, patios, TV (you won't need to use it!). A great place if you are on a budget & travelling economically + smart. A massive reason for my wonderful stay was due to my luck staying at Niris. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience and hoping to return in the near future!

Hotel has exellent location close to beach, supermarkets, busstop, restaurants. Quiet hotel, clean rooms, cleaned daily. Comfortable beds, all you need in the kitchen to cook. Friendly staff including the owner, always ready to help, if needed or just to have a little chat. Travelled alone, so it was important to me, that I felt safe, in the hotel and also in the area. Was relaxing to walk on the cliffs close by and on the beach or take a bus to Chania, cost only 1,20e. I have visited this hotel several times, alone and with my husband and can warmly recommend this hotel to you all.

To my experience, Niriis is a good one star Hotel with helpful staff and with great location. So I was happy what I got for the price! Even though there is not a possibility e.g. for breakfast in the hotel or pool, it wasn't a problem for me, because you could go eat breakfast or swim in pool just nearby. Also there are are two small shops, plenty of restaurants and three(!) beaches near the hotel so the location is quite perfect, in my opinion. I had spacious room with good view at the balcony. I got good recommendations from ppl at reception what to do in Chania and what trips would be most worthwhile. This was really helpful and I am thankful for the customer-oriented attitude from the Hotel staff!
