The Royal Hotel is situated south of Thessaloniki and quite close to the airport, which makes it a very convenient place for those who have to catch an early flight. The hotel is OK, a bit large and a bit impersonal but it offers comfort and convenience. The surroundings are not impressive, the beach is a 10 minutes drive. also,... More

We've stayed in a room without balcony, as we've booked the room pretty late, less than a couple of weeks before arriving at the hotel. However the room was cosy and nice, despite having no balcony – it didn’t bother us at all, the hotel has a very nice pool area and lounge. The bathroom is large and clean, well... More

We are guests in this hotel for 3 years. Always very good service, good food, the appartment where we usualy stay 5 persons, is big and very nice. But with years we see that the place need some fixing inside the rooms and on the outside. They should realize that at 4 and 5 stars the quality is within the... More

For the 4th time this hotel is our choice to travel to Thessaloniki. It's location is not I. The crowded city center but in a residential area close to the airport. Also it's 15 min driving from the nice beach of Peraia. The room is nice and the family room is big enough to accommodate 3 adults and 3 kids.... More

As a young family of 4, I booked a no view, no balcony smaller room (think was deluxe). Upon arriving, we had a pleasant surprise of being upgraded to a family room! That was simply fantastic for us as that room had great space for kids to run around while we were in the room! Overall everything was superb! From... More

This is a very comfortable hotel with attentive staff. Our bedroom was clean, fresh and spacious with a huge bed, while the bathroom had a corner bath in it. We had an excellent evening meal. The prices are a bit dear, but I would say you get value for money with well cooked imaginative meals. Breakfast was the best I... More

Only stayed one night but staff were extremely helpful in the restaurant and at Reception. Public areas, rooms, restaurant and pool area were beautiful, well kept, clean and with good quality furnishings. The breakfast provided was perfectly good with a good variety of continental options. Nothing amazing but what was on offer was very nice. It's also very easy to... More

An excellent stay in a fantastic positioned hotel with superb views. Once again the service from reception is second to none. A special mention to the ever smiling lifeguard around the pool called Dido. Free water and complimentary drink on arrival. Many thanks...We will be back.
