We booked 7 nights but stayed 10. This was our first CP in our first caravan, and it was a great place to stay. The staff are really friendly and helpful, the facilities are new and clean, the pool was great. The laundry was $5 a wash and the clothes lines outside the laundry were great for drying. Dogs are welcome. It is a short walk to the Pier and local restaurants. We would highly recommend staying here and will definitely return.

First time taking our caravan with the kids (2&5) without our experienced helpers and to be honest we were a bit worried about reversing the van and remaining married. Julie was so helpful and lovely, we parked with no problems and other people staying nearby were quick to offer assistance and tips. The amenities were always very clean and modern - no charge to use either, this is included in your fee. The pool was lovely and maintained daily, awesome playground for the kids open for those 5am wakeups beside an outdoor kitchen with a TV, BBQ and communal TV. Very short walk (max 200m) to the pier, beach and shops. We will definitely be back, wonderful memories made!

The Pier Caravan park is one of the best parks we have ever stayed in. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The grounds and sites are very well maintained. The camp kitchen, BBQ area and amenities are well cared for and spotlessly clean.
It is an easy 5 minute walk to the Pier, cafes, restaurant and Bayswater Bar and Grill.
The location is very convenient for people wanting to go whale watching or visit K’gari (Fraser Island) as it is only a five minute drive to the Marina.
I would not hesitate to recommend the Pier Caravan Park to my friends.

We stayed here for one night during our 8 day long NBN road trip.
This was our last stop and we had stayed at many caravan parks before this one.
Facilities were nice but they lock at night which meant I ended up going to the bathroom a few times forgetting the code and had to run back and fourth in the dark. We hadn’t experienced locked bathrooms at any other parks before this stay so found it rather odd.
We found the sites small but reasonable for the price and the location was new and nice.
However our large issue was the lack of drainage on the sites. For a lot of our trip it was raining and we stayed in many sites where we parked on grass with no issues since it had good drainage. At this particular location our site was basically a swimming pool, we tried to drive completely onto the concrete slab but couldn’t since In front of it the grass was a pool. There are 2 tracks for your wheels to drive on however in the pitch black dark these can’t be seen and we ended up off to the side on the grass slightly. Since we’d parked on grass at every other site we didn’t think much of it and just went to bed. It rained all night and alas when we woke up our van was bogged in our completely soaked swimming pool of a site.
We ended up having to get towed out by a local 4x4 in the morning.
Absolutely ridiculous, we’d never seen a location with as poor drainage at this, every site was a swimming pool and meant a lot of it was unusable. If this can’t be fixed at least light up the road a bit so drivers can drive onto the tiny thin strips of concrete in the dark.
We are good drivers but nothing gives us night vision unfortunately and therefore we just couldn’t see anything to reverse onto the tiny pieces of concrete.
Wouldn’t stay here again as it was such a hassle in the morning to figure out how to get our van out.
Stay around the corner at the beach front site - their sites had no flooding at all so they have good drainage installed.

Hi Nicole, We are sorry the weather had such an impact on your overnight stay and you were not able to experience our park at its normal usual standards. There were several sites that did not fair well with the consistent heavy rain over a 3-4 day period. And as it did not let up, several sites did hold pockets of water. Normal park maintenance in October is generally top dressing these sites and building them back up which comes in a quieter period before our normal wetter seasons but the rain we had over the weekend was quite unseasonal and whilst we thought having you on a slab site would eliminate any issues with the camper van on site it was a pitty you came of the slab tracks in this circumstance. Im sorry that you feel bitterness and anger towards our facilities because of it. We explain our amenity procedure upon check in and advise that we do close the amenity doors in the evenings and point out the keypad access code on your map. We do this for the safety of our guests venturing to the toilets in the evening and do not believe this is unreasonable. As with the beach front council parks, they too would hand you a key for accessing their amenities for the duration of your stay. But again, if that was something you were not use to in your travels it would have been made all the more frustrating for you due to the weather circumstance. Our after hours number is always available to guests so if there is ever any concerns during your stay, including your departure from your site we are always just a call a way and will always do our very best to try to ensure our guests have a comfortable and satisfactory stay and leave smiling. No expense has been spared in the drainage system you mention in the park, but we can not wait to get some top dressing on several of our sites that notably struggled under such heavy rain as we will want to avoid future implications of this happening again in the future. To say every site was a swimming pool is not fair representation of how it was but I can understand you have responded from a frustrated state. We do wish you happy travels in the future. We are sorry your stay with us on this occasion was not that experience. Our best wishes from our family to yours and again thank you for your valuable feedback.

This is a relatively new caravan park with all amenities and washing facilities well laid out and beautifully maintained.
The park is located a few hundred meters from the Urangan Pier making fishing trips a breeze.

Modern, clean, great facilities! So lovely and quiet. Will definitely be returning. Easy check in and communication with friendly welcoming staff. Showers were a 10/10. Camp kitchen was clean and well equipped but would recommend a stove top so pans can be used.

Great modern facility with options of grass or slab sites. Very wheelchair friendly with a seperate disabled combined toilet and shower, ramps throughout the park and pet friendly. Close to shops and attractions

Great caravan park ideally situated close to the esplanade. Amenities are first class and the staff very helpful. We stay here every year on our way home down south. The sites are easy to back onto and there is ample room to park your car in front of the van

Immaculate Park, caravan sites were of a great size and the center section being at 45 degrees was a great idea for easy of reversing into your site. Amenities were spotless. Within walking distance from everything you need. Will definitely stay there again.

Lovely clean amenities, spotless barbecue area near sparkling pool, all beautifully maintained, friendly staff and all within a short distance to the marina & pier. Bus pick up and drop off was available for many sightseeing experiences. RSL bus will pick up and drop off on the hour so very convenient.
