Hôtel Les Herbes Folles
About
The spectacular buildings designed by the architects at MIAM feature three modern spaces incorporating a former distillery beneath a towering glass roof. One drawing room opens out onto the terrace and garden; the other, on a mezzanine floor, seems to hover over the church steeple. Warm, vibrant fabrics by the prestigious Manuel Canovas design studio create an intimate setting and infuse elegant style into every room. A team of professional staff at this boutique hotel efficiently serve businesspeople and visitors: express check-in and check-out, the possibility of direct airport transportation, light dining at the wine bar.

It was about 12 minutes from the airport so we didn’t have to venture all the way into Paris on the busy roads.
I would definitely recommend this place
First, you only get a one-way shuttle. So if you take it going there, you can’t take the shuttle going back to the airport. I would recommend that you have the hotel shuttle pick you up and then taxi back to CDG (if that is what you are doing) because the taxis at the airport are expecting fares into Paris at 50 Euros and up, not a 15 E fare.... we actually got yelled at by an irate driver once he sorted out where we were going.
Second, the village is a TINY commuter village with little of interest from a tourist perspective and quite a ways away from the nearest train station that would get you into Paris.
There is no lunch service available, but if you are starving, they will make you a bread and cheese plate. Dinner is ok, decent food. Reception services are very good and helpful.
Overall, a much better local alternative than the big airport hotels.
Breakfast was the typical freshly made coffee, teas, croissants and beautiful rolls, yogurts, fruit and granola.

The staff cannot do enough for you and when we asked if we could obtain a drink in the middle of the afternoon, they were more than happy to oblige. There are no other amenities in the Village but it is quaint and we enjoyed our walks. Make sure you arrange for the shuttle (17 Euros) to pick you up at the airport before hand as we ran into the cab scam at the airport and it cost us 60 Euros - bargained down from 115 Euros, but we didn't know we were being scammed at that point, but that's a whole other story. We made use of the shuttle after that experience and our shuttle driver "Ravi" was excellent and very professional.
We encountered some difficulty to reach it, because its address does not correspond exactly to its location. It is a few hundred yards off. Otherwise the hotel was charming and comfortable, exactly what we needed.
Built on an old farm it preserves the charming old rustic structures and blends them in a modern construction. The result is spectacular and pleasant.
The rooms are very large, clean, quiet, and well appointed. We had dinner at the hotel, which was good, and well served. The staff is nice, helpful and welcoming.
They have a bar and a nice yard, proper for recreation. Parking is included and safe.
The connection to the airport was easy, about 10-15 min driving in the morning, but a shuttle to the airport is also available.
Great place, prices very reasonable.
"While this hotel is just 10 minutes from the airport, the taxi ride back to CDG is a flat fee, more expensive than usual."Read full review
