Staying here is definitely not cheap (A$225 a night) and you'll have to stay for a minimum of 2 nights. However, the experience of staying here is certainly worth the dent in your pocket. All the 3 cottages are in their original structure and some original features like the kitchen sink, wood fire stove and laundry tub have also been...

We got a warm welcome from Adele and she fortunately wrote us a note that the clock will change in the night. Otherwise we would have perhaps missed our ferry the next day... Thank you again! We would recommend the lighthouse tour which gives you interesting information and the chance to see the inside of the lighthouse. Thomas Cottage was...

You have to be a Seinfeld fan! (we skipped the "airing of family grievances") This is how family holidays should be - no internet, no TV, no shops - spectacular environment & wildlife with heaps to do - and all with a sense of history pervading the experience. Where else can you see the light from a lighthouse from the...

Stayed two nights and it was great. The cottage was massive for two people but it was great to stay in and try to understand the life of a light keeper's family. The cottage was in great condition and had everything we needed. Spent one night playing board games in the parlor and the other in front of the gas...

We stayed 2 nights in the Troubridge Lodge. It wasn't cheap but it was an interesting experience to stay in the house where the lighthouse keepers used to live with their families. You really got a sense of the isolation and loneliness they might have experienced. The house is in its original condition but they have an electric stove and...

Stayed here with my family for two nights to run the inaugural Kangaroo Island marathon. The location is fantastic near the Cape du Couedic light house, with pleasant walks down to Admiral's Arch and along the cliffs. At dusk there were many wallabies in the scrub around the house, and during one of our day walks we came across an...

We stayed at the Parndana Lodge for 1 night. It was very remote and quiet. We were the only people staying in the National Park that night. Lovely views of the lighthouse though. It was a lovely cottage with all the amenities and it was clean and very well kept. The kitchen had all the cooking utensils, cooktop, oven and...

Well, here are 2 reviews in one. We stayed for 1 night in both Parndana & Troubridge cottages during July 2015. Both cottages are facing each other. Troubridge has view of lighthouse from front of cottage. Parndana has a view directly from kitchen window. The cottages are private from park visitors due to shrubs surrounding. The lighthouse is behind shrubs...

The location is great as it is walking distance to Admiral Arch and the light house. Teh cottage has everything we needed and having wood fire at the kitchen was very pleasent. Maybe the heaters are very small to warm up the bedrooms but they were ok.

Great little spot very close to Admiral's Arch. Cabins are clean and big, with all the necessities for cooking. Do note, you'll need to bring everything you'll want in - there are no close restaurants or anything.
