Had an enjoyable afternoon. The sandwiches were lovely and fresh. The cakes were freshly made too. The table was dressed with nice fresh linen and the tea service was all matching. The staff were very nice and attentive and to finish off had a lovely refreshing glass of procesco. Will be going again.

We stayed here for one night after a birthday party. The rooms are small, but clean and well supplied. The food was reasonable, with a good choice for breakfast. The staff were welcoming and helpful. It was expensive, £108 for one night, so would not stay again.

We had a meal in the Courtyard restaurant for 15 people including children. The pre meal administration was excellent as was service on the night. The food was very good and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely return there.

We got married in this homely friendly hotel in 2015 and each year on our anniversary we go back to eat. The food on our wedding day and ever since has been outstanding. The staff in the restaurant are so attentive but only when needed. Outstanding food and service and we will go back again and again. We recommend this...

My partner and I were invited to a wedding at the Stanwick. We were unable to book online as the rooms had been reserved for the wedding and appeared as 'unavailable'; however after a friendly chat over the phone, the staff were more than accommodating. We had a standard double bedroom with en-suite. I like the courtyard to which the...

All a bit disjointed to be honest. The communication during booking wasn't great, several times we were told that the manager would call us, which didn't happen. The night itself was flat and really lacked atmosphere. The lighting was clinical, and there was no customer interaction. Getting up to try some dance moves as has happened during many other burns...

Was treated to afternoon tea for my birthday in January. Outside was wet and dull, however we had fantastic freshly made cakes and sandwiches in the conservatory. There was warm just made sugar doughnuts, gorgeous gingerbread and the lightest scones. Plenty of tea and food for £12.50 each. Staff were attentive and friendly. Worth a try.

We were the first couple to get married at The Stanwick Hotel in 2017 and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding. From the first day we visited at the Wedding Open Day in 2016, to the day after our wedding when we left as Mr & Mrs, every single member of staff we interacted...

Good place. Not a typical hotel. Rooms are little cottages outside and they are all very well decorated. Room is very cosy and the restaurant was very good too. Highly recommended and defo worth a revisit.
