We stayed 4 nights and ate in every night. Charming atmosphere and friendly staff who went out of their way to be helpful. It is in a quiet village 15 minutes from Foix, the nearest real town, but parking is tight. You can stop outside to unload bags and then move the car a short walk down the road to...

Lovely hotel, great food, very friendly and helpful staff who create a relaxing atmosphere. For the money this must be the best place to stay around foix; a great 'launch pad' to explore the area. We stayed as a family with three children. Anne, the owner, always made sure we were comfortable and that we made the most of our...

The hotel is a little inconvenient. Its right on a busy and very narrow street with little room to maneuver. You pull onto the sidewalk, put your luggage in the hotel, then drive up the road, turn around and drive to a parking lot at the town hall about 100 years down the road. The staff is very helpful, friendly...

Stayed for one night when travelling around the south of France. The room was beautifully clean and well presented and the proprietor was lovely and helpful. Breakfast was excellent (apart from the coffee which was a bit stewed) with a better selection of fruits and dried fruits and breads/ etc., than many French hotels and auberges. The restaurant was excellent...

This hotel is off the main roads, about a five minute drive from Foix. We chose to stay here after driving through from Andorra. The rooms are above the restaurant and are in an old building with bags of character, narrow stairs, wonky floors etc. We loved our room at the top. It wasn't huge but was very comfortable and...

Spent two nights here last week with my wife and family. We arrived somewhat weary after a long drive from the Costa Brava and the trauma of a mechanical breakdown on the way. We were warmly welcomed by the hospitable owner (Anne) and shown to our accommodation. Rooms are comfortably but simply furnished with modern bathroom facilities. They have retained...

This charming auberge is located in St. Pierre, a five minute drive from Foix. Everything about our experience here reflected the care and attention to detail of the owner Anne Landes. The rooms are well appointed, the atmosphere cozy, and the staff make sure everyone has a great experience. And the restaurant – what incredible meals! The chef blends local...

Rather than staying in Foix itself, we decided to stay here because of prior reviews - which seemed to have a far better rating than any of the Foix hotels. A key part of the attraction was the rave reviews of the restaurant attached to the hotel. We were extremely happy with both the hotel and restaurant. The accommodation was...

It was a dark and rainy night. We were lost. My wife and arrived at this small auberge hoping only to use the bathroom. The warm and smiling innkeeper, Anne Landes, took pity on us and, though her restaurant was closed for the night, asked her chef to put together a plate of food for us. It was beautifully presented...
