One of my best holidays has been in Aloita. Not only the first couple of days we were the only guests and everyone was so nice to us, but after when other guest arrived too. The staff is really caring. We have to give a special mention and thanks to Flavio from "The Perfect Wave" who took special care of... More

We spent 7 days on Aloita on a surfing trip orgainised by The Perfect Wave and it was just amazing. We did stay in the surf cabin so it was a little less in comforts but really after a day of surfing all you needed was soft bed. The food was amazing being a buffet i thought it might lose... More

Just back from Aloita and absolutely loved it. Really friendly vibe, gorgeous place and if like us you have one half of the couple who doesn't surf and wants to do a few other things like diving, this is a great choice as it is the only surf resort type place that has a dive centre on site. I had the privilege of spending 5 days at Aloita a few weeks ago as part of the surf trip with Occy, organised by The Perfect Wave. I had a great time hanging with a good crew, catching some fun waves and just hanging out in the wonderful surrounds of Aloita. I stayed in my own private bungalow which was... More

Just returned from a wonderful surfing trip. Although we where a bit skunked in terms of wind/swell direction, resident surf guides Terry and Flavio always had Plans A, B, C, D ... on hand to ensure we got our surfing fill. Terry had an infectious energy about him, and was a great source of inspiration with his unique world experience... More

If it weren't for the mozzies, sandflies and a bit of rain during our stay on Simakakang Island, I'd honestly label it PARADISE. The island is stunning, from every viewpoint (undersea, walking along the beach, from a SUP, a boat, the mangroves, from within the bar area at Aloita). We stayed 8 nights in the family bungalow. My husband &... More

I didn't wanna leave! Awesome place just totaly prepared for surfing! Plenty of breaks around plus a very keen time of surf guides always chasing some uncrowded barrels. Staff always friendly and the food just sooo good! I was surprised with incredible snorkling right in front of the pier and everywhere around the island. Perfect for scubadiving. Such a paridise....
