Took my partner here for her birthday, she was suitably impressed. A most beautiful building steeped in history. Service warm and friendly even in the formal fine-dining atmosphere of the restaurant. Lovely large pool although too cold in April to swim. We will return no doubt. Recommend you drive into Cahors which is only 10 minutes away.

The Chateau is a beautiful property with an incredible view. From the moment we arrived the stay could not have been better, except for a power outage during dinner. However, candles were in brought in an we enjoyed a wonderful bottle of wine and it hardly seemed as though it was a problem at all. A short delay, but all...

WOW! This place! Such a wonderful place. We came for lunch here and it was truly spectacular. Sat outside with a beautiful view of the Dordogne and the valley. We also went on a tour of their winery. The food and service is top notch. Everyone was so polite and knowledge about the house and its history. If you have...

We spent four nights here in October. It was nine years since we visited SW France and the first time here. We had such a relaxing stay. Crystal on reception was so helpful and friendly both before we arrived and once there. We had a superior room so not the best in the chateau but we had the most marvellous...

First I must point out that there is no A/C. I was there in Sept, so you would think that that would be no problem, but the maid opened the curtains and the sun turned my room into a sauna. Fortunately by opening the windows, I was able to bring the temp. down to tolerable. The room was otherwise OK,...

Decided to spoil my wife as a surprise last night after our six month holiday in France. From the moment we arrived, it seemed like it was our own private castle – incredibly calm and peaceful with amazing views and excellent service. The Chateau shows its age from outside but in a pleasant romantic way. Inside is carefully renovated so...

We arrived at night and immediately on the approach we were overwhelmed with the beauty of the property. We were pleasantly surprised that the staff already were expecting us and had everything ready so we could go to our room immediately. Even though it was late, we were asked if we would like some dinner and offered to have it...

Very comfortable room overlooking the river. Huge tub with unlimited hot water. It was a 25 euro taxi ride from Cahors. There is a large swimming pool with comfortable lounging chairs, We watched grapes being delivered to the cellar, unloaded and crushed. All very efficient and modern, no purple feet here!!

The chateau is certainly in a stunning position, and our room overlooking the river could not have been more beautifully situated high up with wonderful views into the distance and way above the morning mist. The room was very large with a very large bathroom. The plumbing was a little quirky, and there was only a bath, no proper shower....

This is the most beautiful of any hotel in which I have stayed. The setting is stunning and our rooms took my breath away. The staff were friendly. The breakfasts and bistro food were good. However, there were some really irritating negative aspects. Most of these were trivial but seemed to point to a slightly mean spirited and penny pinching...
