I was very happy with the whole stay. It was great to have a family room that accommodated for a family of 5, we didn't have to ask for extra towels or plates etc as we have had to in many places. We booked for 5 and had everything we needed in the room. It was also great to not...

Best thing about this motel is its location, only 100m from the Porirua Town Centre and right on the ring road, Considering this it's surprisingly quiet, especially the first floor rooms which face the bush-clad escarpment. Big rooms, reasonably well fitted-out and clean. Ideal for business travellers, a big desk to do your homework on, and extensive parking area right...

Stayed here many times in the past and was greeted by friendly staff. Under the new management this is not the case. Stay here if you want to be abused by a rude, grumpy man who essentially told me that they don't want business because they are full enough when I arrived at 10pm due to a late flight.

We arrived in Porirua by rail after traveling from Aukland to Wellington on the KiwiRail Northern Explorer. Amethyst Court Motor Lodge was easy to find. The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. We had asked for a quiet room and it certainly was. No people or traffic noise contributing to a good sleep experience in a comfortable bed.The room was...

The motel is ok, rooms are clean and big enough. I stay here the night before I had to get on the inter islander ferry, so was only really looking for a comfy place to rest up. While motel was fine the surround area is not great and pretty much run down. I found the front desk staff to be...

A modern motel with comfy rooms. Very clean. Tea and coffee making facilies, a large fridge and a microwave. The bathroom is large and complete with pleasant soaps and shower gels. The lady at the front desk was also very pleasant.

Was here for business, very quiet, well maintained , modern rooms. Very close to the motorway/trains and the shops of Porirua. My room had basic kitchen facilities which I used. Hosts were friendly. Would definitely stay again if the need was there

I admit I am more a hotel with room service sort of person, but this motel was ideally located for an expo at the Te Rauparaha Arena. The room was good value, clean and well stocked. There was good parking and there is a mall and supermarket just across the road. I would be happy to stay here again.

In Porirua for a funeral, exhausted and stressed. Management found the room that fit our needs with no fuss even though the motel was nearly full and a late booking - thank you. Room modern , clean and warm. Free wifi and great work station. Awesome sleep. Shopping mall, supermarket, restaurant and service station is across the road. Minimal to...
