We booked Hotel Svanen for 2 nights for a family weekend away. Cost was a major factor is choosing a hotel, as was location, as most of what we were planning to visit was in the local region. That said, this was far from being a cheap hotel, and whilst it was one of the cheaper offerings, I wouldn't categorise... More

Two colleagues, my son and I were on business in southern Denmark and were flying out of Billund airport the followling day, so this hotel was very handy. Our bedrooms were in the courtyard area and were very clean. quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Staff were very friendly, especially Barbel - thank you so much... It was a great hotel, my nephew made friends in no time. Good entertainment for the children like a playfield, trampolines, playground, bounce stuff and sand. And the breakfest was amazing! Could sit there for hours eating... But its so near Legoland so no time for breakfest.

The staff was nice, and the good in the restaurant was quite good. But our room wasn't clean and smelled really bad, like putting your head into a very old bag of gym clothes. The worst smell was in the bed actually. There was a big hairball in the shower that no cleaning personell could possible miss, and also a... More

Near Legoland 500m , not bad we stay three nights . Fantastic breakfast with many things to eat . The room not always give the impression that was cleaning . In the room minimum services. The structure is funny and typically Danish. At the end not bad.

Room was clean and everything worked properly. Only thing that surprised me was that the shower wasn't equip with thermostat. You needed to be extra careful with kids so they would not burn themselves with hot water. Hotels playground was really fun and also there was trampolines and soccer field. Breakfast buffet was really nice. There was good range of... More

We spent 3 nights here 2 weeks ago. Room was clean and comfortable with good free wifi. Only downside is rooms are a bit dark but we were just using it as somewhere to sleep so no big problem. Very child friendly with fantastic sand covered play area with 'jelly belly' which our 7 year old loved. We had breakfast... More

Stayed two nights in June 2016 with 12 yr old as home base for Legoland. Booked hotel for excellent value as compared to similar properties in Billund. The hotel was acceptable -no issues to speak of. Room was a decent side with adequate storage. Outdoor entrance to room required parking in front and walk around side of building and therefore... We picked this hotel for the price and proximity to Legoland and you get what you pay for. After arriving early, our rooms weren't ready so the receptionist directed us to the town. After getting food, we returned and were given the details about the room and breakfast. After a short walk, we arrived to a very clean room. The... More
