We recently enjoyed a lovely short break at Swallows Eaves. A warm welcome awaited us along with an extremely comfortable room and delicious food. Nothing was too much trouble so thank you Dorothy for such a relaxing break.

We stayed here as a base for day trips out, just for a few days. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner and the rooms had everything and were very comfortable. The pub down the road does very decent pub grub and Lyme & Seaton are only a short drive away.

First time we have stayed in this part of Devon and we couldn't have picked a better place. Great location, lovely village and the hotel was superb. Very comfortable room with great facilities. Breakfast was a treat, cooked to order and very tasty! We also dined in the restaurant one evening and the food was amazing. Couldn't have asked for...

Stayed for one night at beginning of September. Huge double aspect room, immaculately clean with beautiful bathroom that had walk in shower and large bath. Had an excellent full english breakfast with local produce in the morning. Off road parking available. Late time for check in (at 4pm) is a slight draw back, but you can arrive earlier by negotiation...

Very friendly owner and staff, first class full English breakfast and very friendly staff. Plenty of parking space. Recommend. We stayed for two nights, never used the hotel restaurant called ' Reeds'. Room was clean and comfortable, great shower.

Clean and tidy. The house keeping was second to none with fresh clean towels every day. Has its own restaurant and bar but you have to book 24hrs in advance as they only open the restaurant if there are bookings. Close to Seaford wetlands and some nice pubs.

We spent 4 very comfortable nights at Swallows Eves and found it very clean and freshly decorated. Everyone at the hotel was kind, helpful and friendly, especially April. We enjoyed the fluffy white towels and tea making facilities in the bedroom and the fresh fruit for breakfast. We explored Colyford and the people in the Post office and at the...
