Stayed here after being in Cha Am.First visited this place several weeks ago and thought it was nice,so here I am with only a few days left before departing. Now the rooms are really nice,the food from the restaurant is good and cheap,with a pleasant man cooking. As I have been here 3 1/2 weeks,my room has not been cleaned nor have I had clean bedding.I was told initially that if I wanted a clean room to move to a vacant one!!!!??? But anyway,all and all,it is very nice here and also have a bar (Montie's Bar) on thee beach with cheap cold beer.

My parents have stayed here three years ago and they was absolutely sure about the place to stay this trip. Everything was the same, just trees have grown larger. There are few visitors so its mostly you and a nature. Rooms are quite comfortable and clean. Man at charge Montri is very frendly and helpful. Worker is a great and very helpful, but his Englis is poor. Once again my parents are very happy with accomodiation.
There is a little beach bar operationed by Montri. We were not there fasinate about it but most of local expats loves it. Them are nice and friendly commune.
One thing was a bad news for us. There was a awsome restaurant, really awsome. Now chef is working in Bangkok in restaurant PATA Plantation. Wolud like to visit it next time. Hope to stay here again.

We stayed for 10 days. The first 5 were great. The rooms was clean and right off the beach. However, with zero housekeeping the room started to feel dirty. They only change the towels every 5 days. For the price they charge (~1200 baht/night) it should include some housekeeping.
On the positive side, the restaurant is fantastic and Montri's coco bar is wonderful. Another great restaurant to try is la cuisine.

The food at the restaurant was excellent and freshly cooked.although there were many people there and only one cook we did not wait and the service was great.ate at Montri,s bar on the beach front.great setting.
