We heard of this wonderful place by chance and are so happy we made the decision to come here.
The hospitality, the wholesome, delicious food, the attention to detail, the genuine care for the guests, the comfortable rooms, the convenient and safe pool, the stunning garden and the friendly guests are just some of the reasons this resort was perfect for us.
We spent two weeks relaxing here with Larry and Thongbai. It is a very quiet and peaceful environment that is so easy to unwind in and forget about the city.
We have two boys and they were perfectly happy playing in the pool and relaxing in our room with excellent WiFi and use of Netflix!
The local area is very rustic but lots of eateries easily accessible. You can also hire mopeds which makes getting around fun and easy. The beach is a stone's throw away.
We couldn't recommend this place enough.
Thanks for the great stay Larry and Thongbai.

We have had a fifteen night stay at these premises and rate it very high in all respects
Larry and his wife Thongbai are two wonderful people who provide excellent facilities and exceptional food. Breakfast at a communal table provides a wonderful atmosphere where you can interact with the other guests . Simultaneously you enjoy the excellent cooking of Thongbai accompanied by Larry’s accounts of his interesting life experiences
The accommodation, surrounding gardens and pool are first class and spotlessly clean.
We have no hesitation in recommending this property and look forward to our return next year
Thank you to you both for a wonderful stay

Larry and Thongbai are gracious hosts who welcome you as if you were part of their own family. If you need anything just don't hesitate to ask.
This boutique resort offers 4 moderately sized rooms with ensuite bathrooms and verandas that open out onto the garden and large swimming pool. There is a seperate 5th smaller room available too.
The owners house is located on site and they live there too.
The rooms include air conditioning, fan, tea and coffee making facilities, television with Netflix capability, free WiFi, in room fridge, wardrobe, couch and a large bed. The bathrooms have heated shower, sink and toilet.
The rooms are very clean and comfortable.
The resort itself is like an oasis tucked amongst the trees away from the main roads. It's just a 60 second walk to the sandy beach and blue sea. The beach stretches as far as the eye can see in both directions and there are no crowds. It's so peaceful.
If you want to have a massage just ask Thongbai and she will arrange for someone to come and do it in their purpose built cabana on site next to the pool. While you listen to birds in the trees above you.
There are several places to eat that are not far from the resort either along the beach or road. Walking distance or you can jump in the car less than 5 minutes.
You can order food while you are in the resort between certain hours. We had breakfasts there several times - Very nice too. We took chilli boxes with us and nibbles and drinks to store in the in room fridge.
There is an outdoor shower too for when you get back from the beach.
When you arrive parking is easy and available.
Atop of Thongchai Mountain stands Wat Tang Sai temple and the Golden Buddah. It's a 30 minute drive away, spectacular and a must see while you are there.
You basically have everything you need for a lovely escape.
We are definitely going back and look forward to seeing Larry and Thongbai again.

Stayed at Palm Garden resort for 6 nights with my family, 2 adults and 2 children.Larry and Thongbai are the perfect hosts catering for our every need, the bungalows are so nice and clean with Netflix and air conditioning in every room.My 2 children loved using the pool at the front of the bungalows.Thongbai,Larry’s wife cooked lovely breakfasts as well as delicious thai food, and on one night even cooked a large meal for everyone who was staying at the resort such a lovely surprise. Free transfers from nearby train station, they also rent motorbikes at 200 bht a day which is very handy for touring the area.Have some lovely restaurants within walking distance along the nearby beach, and Larry and Thongbai can organise trips to Koh Thalu for snorkelling trips also which I highly recommend. If you are looking for relaxation in Bangsaphan Yai,Palm Gardens the number 1 choice, recommend booking in advance as is very popular with returning guests like my family xx Thankyou again Larry and Thongbai for making our stay so comfortable and homely xxxx

This is the second time I have stayed at this resort. Nothing has changed and the place is still excellent.
The hosts Bongphai and Larry are very friendly and helpful. They provide a lot of local knowledge to help you find your way around on things like places of interest, where to shop and where to eat.
There are four rooms set in a beautiful garden with a swimming pool.
The room itself is spacious and spotlessly clean. There is a good Wi-Fi connection and you can watch a wide range of media on the TV including Netflix and Youtube. The air conditioner works efficiently.
The food is good and prepared when ordered.
The resort is in a rural location and is only a two or three minutes walk from the beach.
There are a few expats living in the area who can provide a change of company and conversation.
I can definitely recommend this resort if you want quite and relaxing place to stay.

This is such a unique and tranquil place. We stayed two nights, once on the way to and once back from visiting the islands. The hosts are very lovely and do everything to make you welcome and comfortable. The rooms are clean and spacious and have a lovely view of the gardens and pool. We had a double bed and an extra bed made up for our daughter. It is a few minutes walk to the beach. Thongbai cooked us the most delicious breakfasts, can recommend their English breakfast and the muesli! She even had everything cooked and ready for us when we had to leave early. The host chatted with us and made us feel very welcome and the room was excellent value. Can recommend a stay here, you will love it!

Have recently stayed at the beautiful Palm Gardens Resort. We have stayed here many many times over the years and it never disappoints! It is a small but wonderfully kept resort and the owners take great pride in looking after it and can’t do enough for you. Very clean and comfortable. Gorgeous swimming pool and only a few minutes walk to the beach. What more could you want. Can highly recommend.

Our 4th visit and we just love this little oasis of tranquility!
Such great hospitality makes a short visit the most restorative and relaxing stop ever. A beautiful pool for an early morning dip and a stones throw from a stroll along the beach.
Thank you for being such great hosts!
