Value
Anavasi, as ascent to the peak of the senses begins from the fir forest of the Tsopela settlement. From the roots of the imposing Strogoula, a mountain range of Tzoumerka, which rises to the sky at 2160 meters. There, at the edge of the old path, as if by chance, as if out of necessity, a hotel opened its doors in 2011—a launching pad for daily explorations into the delightful stirrings of time.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If you are like us touring western and northern Greece, the Anavasi has to be on your schedule.
Dina and her husband are most welcoming, the hotel and its grounds are wonderful and it's easy to see the love and dedication that has gone into the building and its continued upkeep. Initially, the hotel was full for the dates we wanted. Fortunately for us, our schedule changed and we had the opportunity to stay with Dina for three wonderful nights.
Our room on the first floor had the most amazing view and the sunset from the room is not to be missed.
Breakfast is a must with many of the items served being made on the premises. We visited during the coronavirus, so yes, the service at breakfast was somewhat different, but this was true of all the hotels we stayed out during the trip.
Bottom line, make the effort to stay at the hotel and enjoy what the location, the area, and the hosts have to offer, you will not be disappointed.

I had the joy to stay in this hotel for two days and I will definetely visit again. The hotel owners are very friendly and the hotel has great facilities. The breakfast was rich and also it was serving pizzas and exceptional pasta during the evening. The hotel is placed in the beautifull region of Tzoumerka which gives the visitor the chance to see and experience the beautiful nature of the area.I totally recomend it!!!

I randomly came across this hotel and was lucky enough to get a reservation in August due to a cancellation.
The surrounding area is beautiful and Pramanta couldn’t be more charming. This is a great location: close to two villages, but just far enough outside so that it’s peaceful.
The hotel itself is extremely well maintained. It’s both stylish and comfortable. The breakfasts are both plentiful, varied, and delicious.
But what really makes it stand out is the service. You will feel like you’re staying in a 5 star resort and they will make sure that you have everything you need and more.

An excellent mountain resort hotel situated in a very picturesque location, on top of a small ridge with uninterrupted view to surrounding mountains. The rooms were spot clean as well as the amenities and staff were really friendly and professional, with all covid-19 health measures observed. Overall a highly recommended retreat for someone who want to sip in the seren tranquility of the area!

Dina and Aggelos are the perfect hosts. We were warmly and openly welcomed by them and enjoyed a wonderful stay. They gave us valuable tips for the day trips and helped us find great tavernas. Aggelo also showed us special places in the area and partly accompanied us on the excursions. The breakfast buffet was varied and delicious. The rooms are very well furnished and it is easy to sleep in the beds. There are many great art objects in the house and it is good to linger over a drink by the fireplace. Some of us also like to use the swimming pool. There were 13 of us and we liked it very much. Thank you very much!

Our stay in Anavasi provided us with a great sense of being welcomed. This is the general feeling one gets while visiting the north-west of Greece, but especially in Dina`s place.

The area is beautiful, and the hotel is very well located if you want to explore the area.

Dina is there, to guide you where to go and where (and when) to eat.

Breakfast was everything one needs and whatever we asked for was delivered.

The room, opened to the beautiful view of the mountains. I t was a convenient room with a good bed but not a luxurious one, but luxury is not an issue when you stay in a place that gives you a feeling of home away from home.

This is probably our sixth visit. We love it here. It is a small clean hotel run by a family. The breakfast is rich and there is something different to try every morning. There is plenty of personal advise to explore the area. We come here for the dramatic landscape of the area, the trails, the waterfalls and rafting in Arachthos river.
