Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The location Is beautiful, the place looks nice in the exterior, the rooms need to be upgraded. No internet, no WIFI except lobby. Buffet needs an overhall. Drinks are really cheap. This is an all inclusive resort. Nice disco, and nightly show. The staff is by far their best asset. People are friendly. Nice pools.

Check in is completely messy. They recive you like you are entering a convention. Lobby personal, and personelle in genera is unhelpful, moody and not open for help or customer support. Food is poor quality and even though it said gluten free of made from rice, I was given pasta and flour. There I no wifi or working areas. The wifi available is only in the lobby area, with the complete mess lobby is, it mid or impossible to work and the wifi is not strong enough go sustain a regular zoom call.

This was the worst place I have ever been. From the beginning we couldn’t find parking. Then when we got to check in they gave us a number and waited for about 25 minutes I felt like I was at a clinic sitting there with about 200 people. We got to the room and it was terrible the sheets were dirty and stained it was disgusting. The food was disgusting and the drinks wore from brands I never seen. We went to dinner and they only had a buffet nothing fresh even the salad looked old. We booked the room for days but end up leaving the next day we didn’t care about loosing the money. oh forgot they don’t have an elevator so if your room is on the second floor you have to use the stairs to bring suitcases up the stairs. It the worst experience we ever had.🤮

Really bad, no supplies, no margaritas, no piñas coladas, no water bottles, just 3 non alcoholic drinks, personnel with really bad attitude, food was cold and the entire place looks like an abandoned project. There is no illumination if you want to be outside your room after 7PM. A lot pf bugs everywhere. The room is okay, it is a standard room. The food reservation system is the worst I have seen ever, you only have food available for 8 hours a day, not 24/7 as they advertise everywhere. Is an experience that I do not recommend.

ROOMS/FACILITIES/STAFF ATTITUDE I booked 2 superior sea view rooms, with king size bed and the SPECIAL FEATURE of hot tubs in the room, all inclusive for the ease of my elderly parents being able to relax and have access to all amenities without any major hassle. Upon checking in I discovered that I had been allocated just a regular sea view room and an adjoining children’s room (with 4 single beds in it). The hot tubs in either of the rooms didn’t exist, I was told, and never had. After much fuss, my children’s room was upgraded to a superior sea view but my parents room remained just a regular sea view. No other superior sea view rooms were available. So already at check in, i had been shorted by the type of rooms as well as the Special features. No one seemed bothered at

Check in is terrible. They make you wait in line outside of the resort. Our Uber was not permitted to drop us at the lobby because we were early. The line of cars waiting to check in was long. To make it worse we had to walk far to get to the lobby. So much for being a member. What a waist of money and time.

Is true, the hotel is very pretty, in comparison with others all inclusive in the market, local and even international, but the quality was poor significatively, is more expensive and relation price-quality I have my doubts about it, I have membership yet and the treatment is like I'm a person without it, Decameron you own me this time.

Going to be quite hones El Salvador for an all inclusive I was a little frazled when I arrived and check in was rather strange having to go to their conference room and sit there waiting watching 6 people do absolutely nothing where they could have helped us without eating into our time where it was only three days! We finally got to the room and guess what the stone age no key cards you get 1 key and low and behold the rooms are a good size! We had a king bed and there were two small beds so nice! I suggest you bring soap and shampoo along with things you will need! I will say that if you speak english you will need to understand El Salvador is a Spanish country and you will need to understand Spanish and know that the simple tip will yield excellent service from all! I

Decameron Salinitas is one of the oldest All Inclusive Resorts! The experience is worth it, good food, lots of drinks and fun things to do. Really nice personnel. Very clean resort. Swimming pools everywhere! Huge area where you can ride bikes, play tennis, soccer or even basketball. Family show at night and disco until 2 am. If you are looking for sea experience this is not your hotel! Beach has huge rocks and almost no beach, nevertheless you can try the beach swimming pool. (Man made) The biggest issue are the dinners, you can enjoy the best meals as in Thai, Sea food, Mediterranean and Grilled plates for no extra charge, just have to go to Lobby at 7 am or earlier to make your daily reservation. 5 stars ! Try the pupusas....

Very few staff for all guests. They were understaffed, especially for the bar and ceviche counter, which also wasn't diverse at all. Very poor quality and diversity of foods in the snacks. Additionally, the schedules are not functional for all guests. Totally disappointing and not worth the cost. Little diversity of snacks, only at dinner there is diversity but very few spaces. Very few staff in the bars and there were always long queues for mini glasses, which were always lying on the floor (due to rudeness of the guests). The ceviche bar only works 2 hours and they only have one type of ceviche and they give some mini glasses too.
