Briarwood Bed & Breakfast isn't waterfront, or close to a Metro area but is is a beautiful property within 30 minutes of downtown Dartmouth or Halifax Nova Scotia only 15 minutes away from Stanfield Airport very easy to find, and a terrific place to spend a layover or getaway well equipped and comfortable excellent breakfast and friendly staff

I took my wife hear for a mini break we stayed a total of 3 nights. Upon arrival we were greeted by the owner con who showed us to our room. The room highly complemented the house which was decorated to a very high standard. Con made us very welcome. Breakfast was freshly cooked with plenty of it including juices...

I will begin with the positive: the house is extremely warm and inviting. It's an old mansion that the owners clearly took the time to decorate with attention and care. The sheets on the bed are of the highest quality--very luxurious and unlike any others I have ever slept in. They go all out with Christmas decor. Very festive, yet...

Seriously? … Seriously? This gal needs to take a deep breath and take responsibility for her own actions instead of running a verbal vendetta here. We originally refused this lady’s reservation because a she had a dog and also because one of her stay days coincided with an “in house” wedding. She begged us to please take her as she...

The only way to describe it is Absolutely Fabulous. From the moment we walked in,to the moment we left,it felt like home. Rose and Con were the best hosts, you could hope to have, and we must not forget to mention Taylor, who looked after us,supplying our sumptuous breakfast. We stayed in the Thistle suite,it was large, very comfortable, and such a disappointment to leave....

Have to say, this may be the finest B&B we've ever stayed in. The amenities were gorgeous and luxurious. The hosts give a lot of attention to detail. One of the highlights of the trip were the grounds of the B&B. The hosts have lovingly landscaped it over years to include ponds, a pergola, and multiple different seating areas. Plus,...

We arrived and all was good. Warm welcome from Con and his showed us around We were never given a key to our room, not the end of the world but would be nice. Room looked inviting, beautifully decorated. But it was dirty. There were huge.... Not dusted in months....dust webs in every corner of the room. There were big...

Very nice B&B. We used it for our last night in Nova Scotia because it is ten or fifteen minutes to the airport. Spotlessly clean, very good breakfast, beautiful grounds with lots of outdoor seating and a small herd of deer who come out at dusk. Innkeepers are pleasant folks who seem to enjoy their jobs. Ten times better than...

I would have to agree with the many travellers who have given this B & B rave reviews. The property is stunning. The landscaping is lovely and impeccably maintained. The heritage house is furnished in keeping with the era of the house but with modern conveniences. My husband and I stayed in the Briar Suite upon our arrival in Nova...
