We stayed here with our dog en route to visit family in Scotland. The first winter snow was on the ground. We arrived at 4.30 to a good welcome from Harrison and son but to a cold room. Harrison quickly boosted the heating and offered chocolate brownies. We ate in the bar, dogs allowed, the choice of food was very...

Staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The best part for us is that we could take our dog with us. Wath Ian...

A beautiful secluded hotel/pub serving the picturesque village of Wath. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. They were happy to arrange early check in. The room was small but cosy and very comfortable. The little touches of home baked brownies and sweetie jar on the amply stocked hospitality tray were very warmly received. With free wifi readily available throughout...

The George is set in a picturesque North Yorkshire village. The welcome was very friendly and the layout of the building adds a dimension of intrigue as you wind your way to the rooms. The rooms are warm and cosy, the beds are deep and inviting. The evening menu looked great. I had made plans to go to out that...
