Conference was well appointed and staff kept the coffee and nibbles well stocked. Food at the downstairs restaurant was very good, but a bit overpriced. Only complaint is there are no mini fridges in the rooms, making it quite awkward to store any amount of perishables. Kind of a drawback when staying for almost a week.

Third time hosting a biennial conference in Whitehorse and, once again, at the Westmark. While there are things like some renovations and other light maintenance that very much need to be done, Westmark is a very good venue overall for a solid conference and delegate experience. The conference room is large and well-equipped, they have everything you'd expect on site....

Yep, I vowed not to, but I fell for the low price again. Unfortunately I got what I paid for. The building is old and worn, our room needed a number of repairs, trim paint, a working thermostat, someone to remove the broken fan to name a few. We also had a working fan which was great because the room...

Location is excellent as you can basically walk almost everywhere you want to go to in Whitehorse. The room is clean and very basic. Unfortunately no fridge in the room. There is a fan located in the closet if it gets too hot as there is no air conditioning. It was hot when we were there in May and it...

Positives: Location, carpet, furnishings Negatives: Poor customer service, dated hotel that has been remodeled, small cramped rooms My family has been to Whitehorse a few times, and I cannot recommend this hotel. Customer service is some of the worst I've experienced lately. As a rule, Canadians are great and very nice, so this hotel is an aboration.

i come to Whitehorse several times a year for business and have stayed in a number of the local hotels. The Westmark is typical of the downtown hotels, dated but functional. Nothing special stands out but do major downside either. Price is competitive, internet is available for free, location is good but the amenities are basic. Noise can be an...

Nothing at all wrong with the Westmark; nothing exceptional, either. It's the kind of hotel popular with bus tours worldwide: standard rooms, well-maintained and well-serviced; standard breakfasts in the restaurant; standard pub. Location is steps away from what passes for downtown Whitehorse -- enough pretty good restaurants with enough variety to satisfy most people on a typical short visit. Parking...

Came up x 3 nights on package deal through Air North. I had asked for "quiet" room with microwave and fridge and dbl beds. Arrived Friday aft, desk staff friendly. Put into room 175, definitely would have been quiet, but bed was not good to sit on, springy and felt uneven. Plus smell of industrial air freshener. No fridge or...

Good menu! Service was ok but a little slow. Coffee and yoghurt and granola were good and food packed with fruit! Rest of the menu looked good! Priced well and service friendly. Coffee was adequate but nothing to write home about. Nice central location

This hotel had a great room, king bed, lots of pillows, big television, free wifi and great view. Desk personnel were informative. The room was clean, warm, lots of hot water. It is within walking distance of many eateries and coffee shops plus has a restayrant in the lobby.
