Very Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is in a central location but very dated and needing paint with additional cleaning. Town is becoming quite modernized so hotel needs to keep up with the trend. They offer a Follies show nightly which had good recommendations. Recommend going up nearby Grey Mountain road for a great vista of city.

Yes, the hotel is dated in parts, but I think this is reflected in the more than reasonable price. Bed was comfy, room was spacious, food and the bar was good, and it was well located for getting around Whitehorse and nearby parts of the Yukon. Staff all pleasant and friendly. No complaints.

Knowing that this is an old hotel, there is only so much that can be done to improve the quality of the stay. Changing mattresses would be a great start!! It was thin and lumpy. Also, it would be nice to have a vending machine with snacks and soda for those of us who need a little something late at...

This isn't a five star hotel, but our room was clean and the linens were fine. The local temperatures were good, so not having a/c wasn't a big deal. We opened a window and there are fans in the room. We didn't have any interaction with hotel staff, as we are part of a Holland America tour. The local HAL...

We stayed in room 175 which had 2 double beds. The bathroom had soap and shampoo dispensers but no shower caps or body lotion. Linen was fresh and towels were small but thick. This hotel was located in a central part of town within easy access to most attractions and restaurants. The follies show was fairly amateurish but entertaining. Some...

Westmark looks after their customers and while the hotel is showing its age the updating continues and rooms good and clean . All facilities - big screen TV , wifi, and if you want a fridge and micro wave at no extra charge. I stay here a lot for business and they always look after customers. Resaurant and bar serve...

Great restaurant - our party of four sat up to ribs and beer, while I had a wonderful salad - love the cranberry and pecan salad. The beds in the room were very uncomfortable - make sleep almost impossible.

The rooms are stiflingly hot in early August, with no Aircon. I appreciate that Alaska probably needs heating for more months than cooling, but in this day and age, reverse cycle heat pumps should be installed to allow for summer cooling. After all, it is the summer when 95% of their business takes place! Lousy pillows and a room like...

We only stayed for one night but it was very comfy and the staff very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was fully equiped with everything we needed and very clean with fluffy white soft towels and a fantastic shower. Beds very comfy. We didn't eat in the hotel but the food look very good and was very reasonably priced Dogs...
