Great little place. Clean rooms. Had a jacuzzi in my room. Not all rooms have air conditioning. Close to all amenities. Saloon on site. Can be expensive. Paid $149.00 per night with my discount.no pool just a exercise room with 2 items. Everthing else was down for repair. Overall was great.

Thank You for your review! Unfortunately, there are not hotels in Whitehorse with a pool. There is a huge Games center that has a huge pool, hot tub, sauna ETC and it is easy to get to by car or taxi. We are currently looking into buying some new equipment for our fitness room. Congratulations to you and your beloved!...

1st stay were in a lovely room, air-conditioned and quite spacious. 2nd stay were in a smaller room which was not air-conditioned, long walk to the elevator not nearly as nice of a room. The restaurant/ bar is dark and dingy. It also seemed to attract some seedy characters and I was glad that the elevator required a card to...

Dear goodtogoOriillia, Thank You for your honest review. It is regretful to hear that your second stay wasn't as comfortable as your first. Many establishments in Whitehorse such as The Gold Pan saloon are set up a way to look like a blast from the past. Like in the old days when "stampeders" were on their way up to the...

Wow, what can I saw, triple A gives this a 3 diamond review did they miss the mark. Parking is either on the street with parking meters or a mud lot. The room had no AC with only a small window opening with a torn screen and a little fan. The tempts tire was 78 outside do you go figure...

As the street-front appearance would suggest, this is an older-style hotel with long, narrow corridors and small rooms that don't offer much open space. Our room overlooked Main Street, which was not an issue except the street cleaner came by at 5 a.m. and disturbed everyone in our room. Not the hotel's fault but still, added an annoyance to our...

Dear AirCanuck, Thank you for your review. We do appreciate the kind words regarding the front desk staff! Some of our rooms are on the smaller size depending on where you are located in the hotel but we also do offer larger rooms. Thank you for complimenting on the cleanliness of our hotel and I will definitely pass along the...

I never thought of asking if room had A/C. When you pay $200 you assume. It was a hot miserable night :( Staff was very nice and the room itself was nice. Very clean, etc. Found it to be noisy. Walls very thin. No free continental breakfast. Would I stay here again. The answer is.. NO.

Thank You for your honest review! We do appreciate the kind words regarding our staff. We actually do have Air Conditioning in our hotel ( In about 50% of the rooms) Did you happen to inquire at the Front Desk to see if there were any of these rooms available? We would always try to do out best accommodate everyone's...

We had the fortune of staying in a very large air conditioned King room on the top floor for five nights. The room was very clean and quiet. The bed was extremely quiet and we both slept like rocks for over 8 hours each night. The only problem with sleeping in late was the temperature of the shower. Very nice...

We stayed here several nights on our way up to Alaska and one night on the return leg. The only item here we missed was a buffet breakfast. However on the plus side there are many good eating spots in this city and we certainly made the most of them. We enjoyed our stay here and would certainly stay here...

We arrived in Whitehorse via motorcycles after a cold wet ride up from Watson Lake. Checking in a bit early, our spotless room was ready. The restaurant/bar was perfect as we didn't want to go out for dinner. The food was good and we met some great people there. On the return part of our trip, we'll stay there again.

Recently stayed with my family at the Best Western Gold Rush Inn. It's a bit run down but it was a comfortable stay. I have stayed here several times, but this is my first review. The city is small, so everything is centrally located. The check in was good, and the clerk provided me with some basic suggestions for dinning and shopping. The elevator is small and slow, and the hallways and rooms, while clean, are tired.
