We stayed here in May 2016 and had a great weekend. Its a small boutique hotel with just a couple of floors. It was under reservations when we visited but they were proving to add more room to the lobby and the breakfast room. Our room on the 3rd floor was spacious, renovated within the last 5 years and very...

In an area of Quebec that is within 5-10 minutes waking distance to just about everything, petit Champlain, chateau Frontenac, Port market, terrace Dufferin, funicular, rue sainte-jean, Morrin centre and so much more. Everyone is friendly at the front desk and very helpful. The lobby has free espresso and coffee from a machine, with a nice lobby to relax and...

This is a family-owned and run hotel. It is in a great location for walking and exploring the old town. Breakfast was delicious. Don't miss the croissants. I would recommend that those with cars choose opt for valet parking. The hotel's parking spaces are quite small. So are most of the streets inside the city walls. Unless you are a...

We were warmly welcomed here and made to feel at home. The place was clean and very comfy. We did a girls trip, but would have been great with the kids too. Loved being able to park at hotel and walk the city. The city had tons of things going on even through the cold nights and snow storms! Defiantly...

To a person, the staff at the Champlain leaves no room for improvement. Gracious hospitality, fastidiously clean rooms, deliciously prepared food all combine to make this hotel the perfect choice when visiting Quebec. This is our second visit and it will not be our last.

From check in until checkout, everything was terrific. Every member of the staff whom we encountered, welcomed us with a warm and sincere smile. Roseanne and Marina at the front desk went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and even shared their Christmas cookies with all of us. We were a large party of twelve celebrating a...

We were greeted pleasantly at reception and checked in quickly. The lobby is warm and inviting. We stayed in a small, but cozy room based on our Travelzoo voucher; which also included dinner at a very good restaurant called Brasserie Francaise Chez Jules (a city block or so away, in the heart of Old Quebec facing the Chateau Frontenac). We...

I was traveling solo and got a cozy, nice, quiet room with a comfy bed. I loved the bathroom, it was spacious and clean. The staff spoke English and was very helpful and friendly. I liked the coffee espresso machine by the reception, breakfast was tasty and buffet style with quite a lot of choices and worth the money. I...

As usual, the staff at Champlain Hotel in Old Quebec, made us feel right at home the minute we stepped through the front door which by the way, has been beautifully renovated......."Bonjour Mr & Mrs Lapadula" was the greeting we received. Our room was ready and waiting for us and so was the view from the window. We can see...

We were staying in a small, but cozy room. Great location, short walking to all points of interesting. The dinner for two included in Travelzoo package is fantastic. Really enjoyed the one-night stay there. Highly recommended!
