We chose Au Bois Joli based on the Tripadvisor reviews and were not at all disappointed. The room was very nice and well designed and appointed. Even better, our Host, Jean L'Heureux was very helpful and friendly. Definitely a 5-star stay. Breakfasts were excellent featuring the host's own home-harvested maple syrup and an imaginative collection of recipes. My wife attempted...

This B&B is just beautiful and in a perfect location, quiet enough to not be impacted by noise of the neighbouring Avenue Maguire that is within walkable distance and littered with a huge choice of restaurants. Jean and Georgette are the perfect hosts and you can see they love what they do. They had great knowledge of Quebec City and...

The hosts put their hearts into this lovely place. They pay attention to Every little detail. The experience was beyond expectation. The breakfasts are superb. Jean and Georgette cooked with local produce and presented with pride. Book the room #1 early.

We just returned from three nights at Au Bois Joli. The owners are helpul, delightful, and very good cooks. The B & B is lovely. It's located very close to Maguire with very good restaurants. We travel a lot and this is one of the finest places we've ever stayed!

We stayed here in June and enjoyed our stay immensely! Our room (Downton Abbey) was comfortable and spotless and we loved the delicious breakfasts--as pleasing to the eye as to the palate. The inn is in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to excellent restaurants like Montego, recommended by Jean and terrific. Georgette will help you plan your day in...

Jean & Georgette (who we met on the last of our 3 days) take great pains to maintain a calm and elegant atmosphere in this quiet neighbourhood. We arrived on a Sunday and let ourselves in as the owners are away at weekends. Our room (1S and not Room 2 ‘Reverie’ as appears on the web site) was clean and...

The inn location is convenient and quiet. Room nice and has all necessities (including robes, wine glasses and corkscrew). Innkeepers warm and helpful to an American couple speaking no French - things to do, how to get around, dining recommendations and reservations. Weekend stay included fabulous breakfasts! Truly a delightful place.

We had a wonderful experience at Au Bois Joli, which is located in a quiet residential neighborhood of Quebec City. The innkeeper, Jean, provided useful information prior to our stay, and as soon as we arrived, he took care of everything for our first evening - made a dinner reservation for us, had bus tickets available for purchase, gave us...

We really enjoyed our two day stay at this B&B. It is first class on all points. The four course breakfast was a marvellous treat. All has been thought of and more. Clean even pristine would describe the rooms, hallways and common areas. Even if it is a bit outside of the centre of the city it is very easy...

Very clean. Friendly hosts. Superb breakfasts. Our first visit to Quebec City as tourists, and we were not disappointed. Our French is very limited and there was no problem communicating with our hosts, Georgette and John, in English. John had some prepared itineraries for us to follow and suggested some very good local eateries for dinner. The breakfasts were gourmet...
