We spent 3 nights at this outstanding hotel the first week of December and have been highly recommending it to our friends ever since! It was perfectly located for walking the old town (upper and lower) and visiting the adorable German Christmas market only half a block away. Man

We stayed in the Quebec Room. We were not so sure about taking a room located in the basement, but, the room is VERY nice. The hotel description of the room was accurate, and we were happy with it. If I were to come up with one suggested improvment, it would be the windows. E

We recently stayed here on a family trip and loved the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, our adjacent rooms were very comfortable and quiet, and the location was perfect. The breakfast paniers were delicious and charming. We will be back!

The entire staff was very kind and accommodating all throughout our stay! They offered so many wonderful amenities and made us feel comfortable.

The room is large and roomy, with good closet space and very clean bathroom.

Nestled in the middle of the old fort area in Quebec City, I was pleasantly surprise with how cute this little hotel was and immediately wished my wife was with me to enjoy it. Stonework through, the hotel has gone above and beyond to make their guest comfortable. The staff is ve

We are driving into Quebec City - GPS says hotel is located across street on left side. Is it difficult to turn car around so we can unload/check in?
Hello, The Hôtel is located on the corner of St. Jean and L'Hôtel Dieu. If you are coming from the west, down St. Jean street then you can take a left turn just after the hotel. There is an unloading zone for the hotel right there on the corner (on rue Hôtel Dieu). It is well indicated by 2 signs. If you are coming from the other direction (the east) you can also turn down this street or just pull up right in front of the hotel where there is another unloading zone. Regards, Justin

We are driving into this lovely hotel and know nothing about Quebec City. How lost are we going to get??!
We had gps, google maps which worked fine. I would get a good road map anyway. Learn the French words for north, south, etc. as the road signage is in French. 1st time we drove in without GPS and made it. Park in front or side of hotel, go in. They will direct you to the free parking .

I am curious about the Queen Superior which is off the lobby. It is a special price, so how much of a negative is it to be off the lobby? Is it a dark room or a very loud room? Thank you.
Hi, sorry I forgot to say that sometimes you can here the hum of the restaurant kitchen dishwasher. In 4 years we never received a comment about this but I thought you should know. The rooms face northeast and do not get direct sunlight however I would not say they were dar rooms. I posted a video of these rooms on our website and it shows you everything. Also yes, they are 20$ cheaper than our Small 1 queen rooms but are larger. Also, we get pretty good feedback about our salon so I personally think it is a plus to be close to it because it can act as your personal living room. To be perfectly honest my hope is that if people choose these rooms they will be pleasantly surprised. Last year we would mostly rent them to “walk ins » that is to say, people who walked in off the street and could see the room before they rented it. Putting it on the website like this is an experiment to see if people are still happy with the selection. Sorry this is probably too much information. Hope we get a chance to welcome you,
