Stayed here over the holidays and enjoyed it. The price was about the best for being near the old city and it's well located. The rooms are small but clean and nicely appointed. Mine was at the back and quiet. The staff are also pleasant and helpful and basically bilingual, although you'll find that english becomes scarcer the farther you...

This is the third time to this hotel....and I have always recommanded it to friends...but now it is different....first of all ...our room was the deluxe two bed on Grande Allée...nice room but the neighbours were renovating....it started at 6;57 am and ended at 11.00 at night...we stayed 3 nights....the third night the renovations stopped at nine...because the clerk had...

Booked way ahead of me intended travel date and ended up with a room on the first floor facing the front of the building and beside the main lobby area. The room was fair, the bed comfortable but the window was at street level and opened onto the outdoor terrace bar. Fortunately the terrace was closed for the season but...

I've been to Quebec City before many moons ago, but was familiar with Grande Allee. I am here on business this time around, and just needed a hotel for the weekend, before joining my work colleagues again at another (bigger) hotel. So all I took with me was a backpack for 2 nights. I tried to book at 6 other...

We came here for our honeymoon. The room was really comfortable&spacious. We booked the signature plus room. We figured we'd splurge since it was our honeymoon. Though we felt for $224 a night we should have received a bit more. The bedding was very luxurious and the air tub was nice but our room faced a bar that kept us...

Nicely located on the Grand Allee among the restaurants. Eat in this neighborhood, not within the walls or in the old city. Rooms (we had two) were spacious and charming. Bathroom tub in room 3019 is soo small it is a joke. So much for charming old world hotels as you have to sacrifice some comfort for charm. Front desk...

Just came back from staying at Le Grande-Allee hotel for five nights. Normally I enjoyed the charm of boutique hotels and willing to adjust my expectation accordingly (smaller, no pool, not as much service), although there isn't any major issues, but there are enough of minor issues for this hotel to deserve a 3 stars. Pro: Great location. Right on...

Spacious room with old world charm. Huge modern bathroom. Second floor on back of building was ery quiet on a Wed. & Thurs. night in July. A few small issues. They valet park only which made it hard to get the few items we'd left in our car (but I think most hotels in the area do this due to...

Dear guest, We're really pleased to see that you enjoyed your stay at our hotel. Our hotel on Grande Allée has indeed a great location near the main restaurants, cafés and bars. We hope you enjoyed Quebec city and we would be happy to welcome your family again on another visit! Thank you!

Stayed here by myself on business. Great location to explore old Quebec. No problems except that the free wifi was spotty at best. Only stair access to the second and third floor rooms. I liked the cozy atmosphere, but take note if stair climbing is an issue for you.

Stayed for 2 nights. Pros: Reception was nice, and hotel is beautiful. Amazing suite, with beautiful furnishings. Decent price. Breakfast included in price and is decent. Access to the hot tub at Hotel Acadia (sister hotel). Great location - food and bars on the same block, 2 blocks away from Plains of Abraham, 5-10 minute stroll to the walls. Cons:...
