The location alone would make this a "must-stay place", but there was so much more. The receptionists were so friendly and helpful (my wife really likes to talk...), the rooms were quaint and comfortable, and the restaurant downstairs was excellent. We got rooms facing the front - I would suggest that (I recall they were a bit more expensive, but...

We visited there with tour group. Our group tour guide chose to have a lunch in this lovely restaurant. The weather that day was terrible cold - 21'C but inside the staff welcome us with warm heart.Good place.

We had a great stay at Auberge du Tresor. It's got a great history and the location cannot be better. Just a few footsteps to the old town wall and castle. It's near many shops and restaurants as well. The rooms were simple and had everything you needed. The gentlemen working the counter was very helpful and a delight to...

Room and service in the room was wonderful. Breakfast in restaurant was very good. The restaurant was horrible to us two nights in a row. First night we sat down at the bar and we were ignored. Second night they sent us away because of a private party. They were rude and offensive! Both nights we went to Chex Jules....

Great hotel, great location-close to the Chateau Frontenac, shops and restaurants. Easy walk to the lower village as well. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was close by. Not having an elevator was a bit of a hassle upon check in and check out. We loved our room #27 a suite with a great view of the Chateau. The tourist...

Heading sums it up, located in an ideal location below Chateau Frontenac, walking distance to everything in the old town. Room was large, two singles, one double, reasonably appointed, good wifi. Cost relative to what we got for the money was very good. Hotel offers discount coupon for an excellent choice of breakfasts at the 1640 bistro below the hotel...

A charming red roofed hotel. It is a little worn, and there is no elevator as the hotel is above a restaurant, however the hotel staff is very willing to help you with your luggage or any of your needs. The staff is all amazing. I arrived a good few hours ahead of my check in time and they had...

We enjoyed a wonderful view of the street and Chateau Frontenac. Coffee was available in the Lobby and the restaurant served great Eggs Benedict. Street musicians, cafe's and historic sites are just minutes away. The staff was very helpful and guided us to convenient parking allowing us to walk and enjoy the city sites.

This inn has a great location across a square from the Chateau Frontenac, we really liked the shower and the $12.50 breakfast coupon for the 1640 Bistro was great. We stayed 2 nights, our room overlooked the alley on the side of the property. I found the room to be dark, the color scheme in the room did nothing to...

Excellent location, historic outside etc. The rooms are remodeled and almost everything worked. Reasonably clean and the Wifi works. If you are an American and haven't been to Europe it might feel small and a lot of the beds are only "Fulls". If you are from anywhere but America it will be just fine. The best part is the location...
