Four of us stayed here for three nights during a recent trip to Quebec City. This is a wonderful hotel. The rooms are very comfortable with luxurious duvets and gorgeous bathrooms. All the rooms also have a Nespresso machine which is a nice touch. The ample breakfast buffet can be enjoyed in the lovely lobby of the hotel with it's...

We spent 2 nights at Le Germain and it was superb. The continental breakfast is just wonderful. the hotel is close to great restaurants and nice cobbled streets. We went shopping in Old Quebec and a great time. We were in room 502 with a kong size bed and a view of the St-Lawrence River.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights during a recent trip to Quebec City. The hotel is a luxurious boutique style hotel. The rooms are large, well done, comfortable, clean and the beds are great. The breakfast buffet is very nice. The staff is incredible. The second morning I was there, the front desk staff addressed me by...

Drove up here from midcoast Maine and had no trouble finding it. We were greeted warmly and given a lovely room with river views with the two beds (rare in French Canada) we requested. The concierge, Annie Karine, was beyond helpful, from terrific restaurant suggestions to shopping ideas. Our room was large and quiet and clean, with a truly great...

We had a 3-night stay on Memorial weekend 2013. It is a boutiquey hotel, without a serviced bar or restaurant etc - perfect if like us you don't want those things. The hotel is in the 'Old Port' area, at the foot of Cap Diamant, right at the NE end of the city: There are many antique shops along Rue...

We stayed a few weeks ago and I have the following feedback to share - It feels like a luxury, boutique hotel transplanted from Europe but with much bigger rooms, better service and more modern amenities. The only con - Guys you have a great hotel - please put some additional lights in your rooms to brighten the space especially...

After having spent two sleepless nights at a cute, little old hotel in the old city (very close to Le Chateau Frontenac), we moved to Hotel Le Germain-Dominion to get some very much needed sleep. Hotel Le Germain-Dominion exceeded our expectations! I had not initially considered this hotel because I wanted to stay somewhere with an old world charm. However,...

This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. Wonderful location in the heart of the old city of Quebec ; excellent room, and terrific continental plus breakfast included; what made it even better was the attentive kind and knowledgeable staff; especially at the front desk; very sweet and helpful in every way; we would recommend this...

Excellent small hotel in Old Quebec - walking distance to cruise ship terminal, tourist shopping, art outlets, antique shops and a range of restaurants. Fabulous staff and service. Large rooms with very comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast. Free wifi. The hotel has a very cosy feel to it, was most enjoyable and well priced. Woud happily stay again.

We met friends from Toronto and stayed four nights. Immediately we knew this was the ideal hotel for our reunion. In the lower part of the old city, in the old Bank of Hochelaga building, in the modern understated and sophisticated atmosphere the staff helped us in numerous ways. Restaurant reservations and recommendations, to taxis, to browsing the old city...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The neighbourhood that saw the birth of Quebec. The hotel was inaugurated in 1997 in the former office building of Dominion Fish & Fruit Limited, erected in 1912, and enjoys an enviable location on Saint-Pierre Street in the heart of Quebec City's historic Old Port district. The hotel possesses the elegance, comfort and refinement that are distinctive to all Le Germain Boutique-Hotels. Although completely renovated, it still exudes the charm of yesteryear, thanks to efforts to preserve its historic character. Somehow, the hotel has a soul, and it's this in particular that attracts guests. Relaxing Comfort In Serene Surroundings. The rooms, where meticulous attention to detail reigns, each deliver a slice of history.
