This hotel is perfect for the budged conscious traveler. I stayed here while attending a meeting at the convention center and it was awesome. It was a short walk to the convention center but I got the benefit of staying in Old Quebec. Auberge St. Louis is located right in the heart of Old Quebec so you have access to... More

L'Auberge St Louis sits a block from the iconic Chateau Frontenac, in the heart of the Old City. Budget, young, and experienced (read low expectation) travelers will find much to like about the St Louis. Those looking for a more refined experience should look for a 3 star Auberge or splurge on the Frontenac or (the better) Clarendon. My recommendation... More

My family stayed in the auberge for six nights. It was a nice place: friendly staff, reasonable price, and most important of all, perfect location-- 5-minute walk to Chateau Frontenac. The breakfast was okay. We traveled with a kid, and was offered a room that's said to be quieter on the ground floor. The bathroom was very tiny, but functional.... More

It is located right inside of the Old Quebec, so it is easy to get around. The room is also nice for the price, shower inside, bed comfortable, tv with many channels. However, I never saw the manager or staff after I confirmed the reservation. Bathroom was not cleaned, although the toilet paper was all used there was never a... More

+ Location: downtown, at 2 minutes by foot from the Château Frontenac. Close to many restaurants. + Decent price - We had to pay tips for the breakfast, because this meal is subcontracted by a restaurant. - Room not enlighted enough - Insulation is poor, in September it's fine but it may not be the case during winter.

We stayed in a private suite with private shower and bathroom. The room was a good size, clean and relatively comfortable. The AC wasn't fantastic so we were glad to have brought a small fan but you could probably get by without. Ours was room 10, and was sort of 'in the dungeon'. I think you get what you pay... More

Our party of 6 stayed in two separate rooms August 6 and 7 2013. I was travelling with 3 teens, 2 kids and myself. This place was enjoyed by all, mainly for it's location, but also for the originality of the rooms. This really is like a European inn, with it's small rooms, shared bathrooms and narrow winding staircases. The... More

This place is located in a great spot in a wonderful city. Parking is not easy in any city and Quebec is no different. This hotel made parking easy by including the parking fee, giving us a pass to get into/out of the garage, and the garage is right across the street from the hotel and is very, very secure.... More

If you want a great location in the heart of the old city, easy access to all attractions including the Plains of Abraham (Battlefield Park) and you are on a strict budget, this is the small hotel for you. The staff are helpful and friendly and the rooms are clean but very basic. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants, bars,... More

Great location at the end of the old lower town (itself a revelation of beauty in the winter!) and a long winding (good walk) to the upper town. Large and comfortable "terrace-luxe" room, although too cold to use the balcony, nice views of the river from this top floor. Huge bathroom with a heated floor although the heating for the... More
