I traveled with a friend - our room was huge, with three beds - I think a queen, a double, and a single, and there was still lots of walking around room. There was a large closet, which also housed a small refrigerator, and we even had three windows we could open for fresh air. Everything was very clean; had...

Our room was gorgeous--on the 3rd floor, with lovely furnishings and art. It was pretty clean as well, with a little mildew in the bathroom but spotless otherwise. The location was perfect--quiet but close to things on a lovely street full of accommodations. Breakfast was good, but a little monotonous--a heavy egg souffle, and the only fruit were citrus although...

This place, so nicely priced, is unbelievably in the heart of Old Quebec City, opposite one of the best restaurants in town and walking distance to everything. My excellent vote is probably because of the great room we were fortunate to get! Third and last floor, with its own balcony, very spacious with a queen sizes bed, an extra sofa...

Our stay at Castel was fantastic....Natalie, the owner, was a warm, caring and wonderful person. We felt right at home. The room was lovely, the house clean, comfortable and inviting...the decor eclectic but very French Canadian. Breakfast was a delight and so were all the other guests. It's a great value and well worth it. We strongly recommend this terrific...

WOW, Castel d'Amerique Francaise was amazing! The house and hosts were charming. My family of four, which included husband, mother-in-law, and 4 year-old daughter, all loved the place. We stayed in the Champlain room which was wonderful. The house was decorated so elaborately with beautiful antiques and colorful, local artworks. Even our bathroom had been hand painted and included a...

We had a very nice stay at the Castel d'Amerique Francaise. Our room was charming. The owner has many, many neat little antiques around the whole B & B which makes it quite unique. We stayed their for 3 nights and each morning, the breakfasts were excellent! And later in the day and night there are always teas and coffees...

Aside from our room (Frontenac) being enormous, quiet, sunny, and the perfect temperature ... 1) The house is PERFECTLY located at the edge of the old city, 2) The lady of the house is perfectly pleasant and helpful in all ways, 3) my wife did not want to eat out for breakfast because she didn't want to miss out on...

My family and I went there during the long week-end of Quebec day. This place is amazing! It was our first time to Quebec city and our trip was memorable. The most amazing part of it was staying in CASTEL D’AMÉRIQUE FRANÇAISE. The lady of the house is super kind! We stayed in the Ecurie room and the place was...

We have been here for here nights along with another couple and have nothing but good to say. The lady of e house is very charming and wanted to do whatever she could to make your stay as pleasent as possible. Quiet, good beds, good breakfast, terrific location, all in all, a heck of a find. Will return for sure.

Perfectly located on St. Ursule, one of the quieter streets surrounding the old city, Castel Francaise was as quaint as the city. The rooms are roomy, with nice but not tacky decor, with modern amenities (nice bathroom!) The breakfast is simple but of good quality, with hot food prepared by the hostess herself. Overall, you can't go wrong with this...
