Nothing about this hostel is even basically acceptable. Owner is dour and unfriendly, and the facilities are grossly undersized for the number of beds that have been crammed in. Kitchen is tiny, lacking cooking equipment, and wasn't cleaned once in the 3 nights we stayed there. Bathrooms were similar - poorly maintained and cleaned poorly. There is a cafe at...

Stayed here for three days over Carnaval. Pierre a and Skipper (dog) are both lovely and more than willing to help. The roons can get a bit crowded, if full & the bed is shocking but there's free coffee/tea and toast/spred in the morning. Free wifi, free computers, located close to old town (free elevator) nothing wrong at all as...

Went with two friends, stayed for two nights in a three bed room. Would not do it again. Very rude staff, bathrooms were terrifying (not even hand soap), rooms were okay but the locks were funny. Someone else ended up coming into our room in the middle of the night thinking it was his. He was super cool about it,...

I stayed here for seven nights in an eight bed dorm. The room got hot at times when it was at full capacity. The beds were hard plastic, similar to what a child who is toilet training would use. The kitchen was fine with all the required equipment, however cutlery was a bit light on. There were many shops, restaurants...

I went there with 4 other friends. The place is very well located, have enough room, and the receptionists are welcoming, knows the city well and gave us very good advices and helped us discover great places (although we already came to Québec several times). Beware of the dog, that is for sure... The entrance is small so it might...

The location is good. They didn't receive our reservation from this site. We called in advance, but no returned call. Lucky to have vacant room. Parking is near the hotel, per day about cad15. A supermarket is near, and many restaurants and coffee shops around, too.
